Mika's POV

I frowned as I let Kai pulled me along. Itachi was on my other side with Sachi next to him. Daisuke and Yakimaru were trailing behind us.

"I wonder what that was about" Sachi muttered. I was only half listening to what people were saying. My mind was too focused on the way dad looked at Tatsu and Akio. Who were they? Who is Kira? How do they relate/know Darci.

As I was thinking all this things, I didn't noticed that the others had stopped walking. I continued to walk until I ran into something. That something chuckled. I came back to reality and saw that I ran into Kai. A faint blush appeared on my cheeks.

"Sorry Kai" I replied as I stepped back.

"Not your fault. If I was you, my mind would be in the clouds as well after what just happened" Kai replied. I smiled at me.

"You guys coming in?" Itachi asked.

"Just give us a sec" Kai replied. I frowned at him. Kai turned back to me with a small smile.

"Are you OK?" he asked. I nodded. Kai gave me a stern look.

"Are you sure?" Kai questioned. I smiled.

"I'm fine Kai. And actually quite hungry" I said. Kai grinned and led me inside. The others had already claimed a seat. Sachi and her teammates sat on one side, so I sat next to Itachi with Kai on my other side.

"So, what were you talking about? Or was there no talking?" Daisuke smirked at Kai and I. Everyone looked at him. Sachi was frowning. She looked between the two of us, her frown still on her face.

"What can I get you?" a waitress said as she walked over to us. My own smirk appeared.

"One of everything for me please. What do you guys want?" I asked looking at them each in turn. They all looked at me funny.

"What?" I asked.

"How are you so skinny and still eat so much food?" Kai asked with a grin. I laughed.

"Easy. I train hard and walk Halia everyday" I replied. Everyone else ordered and the waitress left.

"Where you related to the Inuzuka back there Mika?" Yakimaru asked me with a smile. I nodded.

"That's my dad" I responded. Daisuke made an indistinguishable noise. I frowned at him.

"Of course he is. Now it makes sense as to why you act the way you do" he said.

"Daisuke!" Kai and Sachi said at the same time. Kai's tone was disgusted, while Sachi's was shocked. Even Itachi had some emotion on his face.

"Why would you say something like that?" Sachi asked. Daisuke looked at her.

"I don't trust her. How do we know that she isn't some spy from the Rock village, here to get intelligence on our shinobi numbers, so that she can report back to the Tsuchikage so he can start the next shinobi world war" Daisuke said accusingly. I started at him. I was shock, but most of all I was infuriated.

Standing up, I turned to Kai and motioned for him to move. 

"Mika...." Kai said. I felt tears start to well up in my eyes. Kai stood up and moved. Halia whined as I exited the restaurant. I couldn't believe he just said that. I knew why though. It was obvious.

"Mika!" someone said. I didn't stop to see who it was. Instead, I ran.

"What?" Sakura asked shocked. The others were shocked as well.

"How come she never told us?" Neji asked. I sighed.

"It's not easy going in there. You know you will miss years of your life. You miss years of your loved ones lives. Darci didn't tell you because she knew you guys wouldn't let her do it. Kiba, Kakashi and Shikamaru especially. and Naruto. That's why she only told one person about it" I explained.

"Who?" Shikamaru demanded. I could tell he was mad. I would be too, if I only just found out.

"Who Kira?!" Shikamaru repeated.

"Me" Kankuro said stepping forward.

"That's why you wanted to hurry" Sasuke commented. "So you could help get Darci out."

"Why did she tell you?" Shikamaru asked walking up to Kankuro. I stepped forward. I would only intervene if I had to. Kankuro looked ashamed.

"She told me....because she needed help" Kankuro replied.

"Kankuro....." I said shocked. I always wondered who had helped Darci. I never knew it was Kankuro. If I had I would have helped him cope with the secret.

"Help with what?" Shikamaru asked. I saw his hands were fists. I saw Kankuro sigh silently.

"Darci needed my help, to put her in the case and get everything set up." Kankuro tried to explain.

"Set up what?" Sakura asked. I decided to take over.

"Because Darci and I received such harsh training from Orochimaru, mostly forbidden jutsu, our bodies can't take it. When we were four years old, Orochimaru, with the help of some other people, invented something that, over time, would heal our bodies." I explained. They all looked at me.

"So why aren't you in one as well?" Sasuke asked with a frown.

"Because, when we were six, my body gave out first. So, I was immersed in the liquid, which was what healed out bodies, so I could get better. For a while after I went in, Darci stopped her training altogether. Over the time she didn't train, her body slowly healed itself. Except, about a year before I came out of the case, Darci resumed training. So, after I was back for about a year and a half, Darci's body gave up on her, so she needed to go into the case so her body could heal." I said.

"So, because Darci stopped training while you were healing, it made it that, you guys were in this liquid at different times?" Sakura asked. I nodded.

"Darci was in it for quite a while her first time. That was how she was about to survive about 5 years without her body giving up on her. That and Orochimaru was making the healing liquid stronger each time one of us went into the case." I said. They nodded.

"Can we see her?" Shikamaru asked. I hesitated.

"It won't be pretty. I think, Lady Sakura, Lord Kankuro and myself should go in first." I said.

"Why us?" Sakura asked. I turned to her.

"Lord Kankuro is the only one who knows the right key sequence to shut down the machine properly, and you know medical ninjutsu, so you can check over Darci's body and make sure it is healed." I told them.

"So why can't we go in?" Shikamaru asked.

"Because it is not a good sight to see. I don't want you to see that image of Darci. Not unless you have to" I said.

"Stay here Shikamaru" Sasuke said. I saw the Nara sigh, but he nodded.

"Fine. Just hurry up" Shikamaru said. I nodded and led Sakura and Kankuro inside the base.
