I sighed as I lent against the tree. In my hand was a pendant.

"Are you OK?" Tarou asked as he walked over. I put the pendant in my pocket before turning to him.

"I'm fine" I replied. Tarou smiled at me. It was a sad smile though. He slung his arm around me and led me back to camp.

"You should be resting. You know that" Miata scolded. Pulling a face I sat down on a log next to Michi. The guys laughed. Miata sighed.

"I know you want to go back, but you know we have a job to do. She entrusted it to us" Miata told me.

"I know. I just miss them" I replied. Michi gave me a one armed hug.

"We are close. It shouldn't be too long now. You will see her soon" Ryota said as he walked back into camp. "Perimeter is all clear" he added. Miata nodded.

"We should get some sleep" Naoki suggested, speaking for the first time. We all nodded and grabbed out our sleeping bags. I got comfortable right next to the fire. Ryota was beside me. He smiled before we all fell asleep.

The bright sun hit my face, causing me to wake up. I could hear Tarou complaining. I grinned and packed my things up. Like always, I was last up. Miata had breakfast already on a plate for me. I smiled at her and began eating. The guys were packing up camp.

"Come on. The old sound village is just up ahead" Ryota told us. I quickly finished eating and packed my things. Once I was done we set off. Getting there was easy, finding one of the old bases of Orchimaru. That was another story.

"We should split up" Michi suggested. We all looked to Ryota. He was the eldest.

"Michi, you go with Tarou. Miata you are with Naoki" Ryota said.

"Leaving me with you" I stated. He nodded.

"Meet back here within an hour" Ryota warned everyone before we went off in different ways. I walked along side Ryota in silence. Activating my Kekkei Genkai, I looked round at the rubble. Scanning my head from side to side, I tried to look for an opening that could be the entrance to the base. I let out a frustrated sigh.

"Calm down. You can't concentrate when you are mad" Ryota warned me. I remained silent, but took a calming breath. My eyes flicked over something, and I had to do a double take.

"Ryota. I think I found it" I stated.

"Get the others here" He told me.

"You are not going in alone. Wait for me to get the others" I warned Ryota. He looked at me before he nodded. Making the hand signs I summoned Kishi.

"Go get Miata, Naoki, Tarou and Michi please Kishi" I told him. Nodding, the animal split itself into four and ran off.

"I still find that creepy" Ryota muttered causing me to laugh. He glared at me.

"What are you going to do when we find it?" Ryota asked.

"Do what I always planned on doing." I stated my voice emotionless. I knew the consequences, but I had to do it. I had to do it for them. Ryota set a hand on my back. He was about to say something when the others ran up. Kishi ran over, now only one of him and sat at my feet.

"Good boy. Tell Aki to give you something special" I told Kishi before he vanished in a puff of smoke.

"You find it?" Michi asked.

"We think so." Ryota stated.

"I'll go first. You guys follow behind me in a single line." I told them. They nodded and I started clearing the rubble from, what hopefully was, the base of Orochimaru. Once it was clear, I made me way inside, my Kekkei Genkai still activated. Looking round, all I saw were hallways. Lots and lots of hallways.

"Which way?" Miata asked from right behind me. We had come to a section that split off into three different hallways. I looked at each.

"Straight" I replied. Instead of walking, I started running. I knew I was close. I turned left and kept running straight. We hit a dead end.

"Are you sure you went the right way?" Miata asked. She knew I hated it when my eyes failed on me. It was rare though.

"I'm sure" I replied before I built up chakra in my right hand. I set it against the wall before I made the tiger hand seal with my left hand. A secret door opened. Stepping back, I entered the room. In the middle was a glass case. It was filled with some sort of liquid and inside was a person. They were hooked up to some sort of machine. From behind me, I heard Miata sob. I could tell the guys were trying to be strong. Walking over to the glass case, the person's features became more prominent. I set my hands on top of the case and frowned at the persons face. Tears fell from my eyes and dripped onto the case.

"I'm here to take you home. You will return to them. I promise you. Darci" I whispered, my hands clenching into fists.
