Walking around in Fantana I got fed up and tired sighing to myself mi no know why mi mek Kk and Ari draw mi outa mi yard enno and mi hate road wid a passion
I'm that home body girl. Growing up it was church, school, home and repeat no parties unless it was birthday parties no nothing.
Kk and Ari are my sisters we are the same age but we all have different mothers. Daddy did a shoot and him neva did a aim fi miss
But anyways back to what I was saying Ari dem draw mi out fi come tek pictures and know mi nuh photogenic.
Kinda hate me body not that I dont love myself believe me I do but sometimes and in certain clothes I just hate it. But Im working on loving it.
Anyways these two love tek picture like them navel string cut inna photo booth to bauxide.
So while they are doing that, mi a gwaan walk round inna the place and a do likkle eye shopping cause mi bad bad poor nah nuh money.
While walking around see this mini book that looked like it could be used for jottings and like lyrics and such.
I love music and I'd like to pursue a career in something of that nature walking closer to the book focused on it alone I accidently bumped into somebody.
Looking at the person about to apologize
I was momentarily aw struck by his looks until he opened his mouth "Caah watch weh yah go?" He asked in a rather rude tone
I was about to answer when I saw Neil and RoRo approaching they were old associates as in my father used to bring them to and from primary school.
"Wah gwaan shanti" ro ro asked "nun much enno mi deh yah sup?" I replied then he said " nun much enno deh yah, a wahm sinna a give yuh problem?"
"Sinna?" I asked confused not sure who he was refering to he shook his head and said "nevermind, ago mek a step we link" I said "okay"
Knowing we would see each other on monday as we attended the same high school.
Grabbing the note pad like book and going to look for my sisters I still couldn't get the boy I bumped into out of my head
I want him to be mines I thought
But him so rude but at the same time he is so beautiful and his voice is the best thing I've ever heard.
Too bad I may never see him again I thought feeling sad. Finally finding Kk and Ari "Uno done yet" I asked ready to go home already.
"Yeah we affi go come back monday fi the picture dem though" Ari said while Kk was a little pre occupied on her phone.
"Okay, but a uno one a come cause mi nuh like dah brown man deh" I said.
We left and if them did follow me and mi belly we could have gotten food too but they didn't so we ended up seperating ways and Ari went to look taxi to go to dad's.
However Kk and I lived with our moms. It was in the same community, so we took taxi together while in the taxi I started telling her about the guy I bumped into literally.
"Girl mi say the boy nice enno but him rude yuh fuck" I said over exaggerating and about to cry.
A the first time mi genuinely like smaddy enno and thats saying something comming from me who played with a guys feelings for 5 years bout mi love him.
Whole time mi couldn't stomach him. Man neva lie when them say woman a wicked but anno every one and it depends on the man too.
"Eeeh yuh genuinely like him or a joking thing yuh deh pon" she asked "Girl genuinely like him woulda do anything eh sinna say right now" I said on the verge of tears.
The taxi soon was full and started the journey to our community.
After 30 minutes I was home and told Kk bye I would see her on monday.
After entering the house "Mom I'm home " I said a bit hesitant because we did not have the best relationship.
"Weh yah come from?" She asked agressively "I told you kk and ari wanted to meet up in Ocho. Thats where I'm comming from" I said to her
God please nuh mek she start up today cause mi nuh have the energy and mi been a try stay calm and nuh loud up me mouth after her.
"Mek sure anno the ugly boy yard yuh did deh enno, cause we done tell yuh we nuh like him" she said with an atittude
And just like that I was brought back to reality forgeting all about my fun day.
I know she was talking about Antwan
I don't really like him like that but mi rate him likkle bit and just because mi know it upset dem mi talk to him often.
Sad but I'm a taruas I told him what it was from the jump.Matter a fact just fi upset her right over him yard mi a go.
After reaching over there we were just chilling and stuff. We watched a Movie and he cooked we cuddled and we were about to fall asleep
When I heard a commotion at my house " Antwan mi a go over yere cause mi affi go see a wahm over there." I said leaving
"Alright later B" he said. After reaching over there I saw my mom throwing out my things and my brother trying to stop her.
"A wahm?" I asked confused "Mi tell yuh fi stop chat to the crawsis boy dem bout the place and yuh nah hear so yuh affi leff yassuh" she said angrily
"Mi nah go no where enno" I said with a bored look "yassuh me born and grow yuh crazy?" I asked her genuinely wondering.
She then proceeded to slap me and said " Pack up yuh things and gah yuh pupa."
