The rooms temperature seems to have changed and it doesn't feel so crowded anymore, though it's quite a weird way to phrase it, as if all the oxygen was sucked out of me, it was like the darkness that engulfed me was slowly suffocating me with, it felt like I was being strangled but then it stopped.
I feel trapped, like there's a big rock on my chest, my breathing is unsteady, my breath hurts like a dagger trying to escape from my lungs, but I'm still tired. the room is stiff and foggy, my eyes burning, and my head spins in all directions, which makes me nauseous.
Am I sick?
I have work Monday morning, why now...
I know more than anything that no matter how much I've been told, "It's just a cold you'll be fine" was bullshit.
I was never "fine" my head would feel like it's was going to explode I'd get told to drink water, as if a little bit of H²o would cure cancer.
I try to stay conscious as fatigue pulls me deeper, looking up at the ceiling trying to catch my breath huffing like i had just been kicked brutaly in the stomach, my hands sirens sound in the distance, and a loud commotion erupts in the building as I close my eyes for what felt like the last time.
It all goes quiet, no more noise nothing, just dead silence, the type you'd hear before a storm, the type of silence that is so defining it makes your ears ring and hurt.
That scared me it was never supposed to be like this, I laid there terrified but unable to move, paralyzed stiff and cold, all I could do was listen, but there was nothing to hear the room was tranquille not even the slight breeze that would escape the livingroom balcony and make its way to my room was present.
The world goes blank with me still in it and it stays that way for what feels like an eternity, until my eyes start to feel lighter and I can almost open them fully but all I could do was squint.
That was the only hope I had currently, the ability to open my eyes but thats was about it, there was nothing to see it was all black, like I was swallowed by a votrtex that was deep but shallow for me enough to see the end, slowly but surely my eyes adjust to the dark or so i thought but that thought disappeared when i noticed that in the middle of the light there was a a tall figure just staring straight at me like he was expecting something or like he was waiting for someone, me.
And right ,now the light was my surface, and much to my bland satisfaction the surface moves closer to me, and the figure becomes more and more easy to identify, it was a man...
The more I got to look at him the more I noticed, he was beautiful, he hair a fiery red with a tinge of orange due to light that was emanating from behind him ,in his eyes laid a ghastly blue, of green and and teal hues.
I have never seen anyone so gorgeous in my entire life maybe a few attractive people here and there but this is a whole new level of beauty...
The beautiful stranger stops only a few steps away from me enough for me to see his visage, and he looked devastated those same blue gems that sparkled in his face were worn out carrying a sad expression directed straight at me.
Who are you...?
I asked with the intention of sounding worried rather than rude but to my dismay nothing came out, I laid as silent as I had been before but he heard me, I know he did although it seemed impossible, the change in his aura the slight lift in his expression said it all.
But he didn't answer, why sould he?
He didn't need to.
I read him all too well, I died, I was never coming back.
Deep in my thoughts I almost did notice the distance in-between us closing in,by now he was only and inch away from me, his attention shifts for a split second then back to me, he sighs as he raises his hand to my forehead and presses down.
It feels so strange just now I couldn't feel a thing, and then he come a touches me me ever so lightly and I feel a gust of warmth slip through his long slender fingers, a warmth that felt so new yet so familiar, even though he was just upfront of me it felt like there was an unexplainable amont of distance between us, and with the cold that surrounded me I wanted nothing more than to close in on it, fill in the gaps and reach out to him, so I did.
Reaching my hands out it felt like a was defying gravity, as if the moment I stopped I would be pushed back with the force of a thousand Gods, but remained resilient and pushed through the invisible barrier between the two of us, and then-
"Gasp- ahh!"
Surprised by the audible noise that I made triggered by a blinding light I sit up straight rubbing my eyes.
"Livian you're awake now, aren't you?"
Thank you sm for reading till next time pookies!! \TvT/'
