It was 4:56 AM when loud continuous banging could be heard throughout the whole condo and Kat had to open her door to stop the other person waking up the entire building.

"HOW DO YOU GET BOYS," were the words suddenly thrown by the perpetrator of the incessant banging.

Blink.

huh?

Kat got home late last night and was surprised to find her roommate hadn't arrived yet. However, she wasn't that shocked considering they liked to move around and bother other people as well.

But now looking at her roommate with her honey blonde hair in her usually messy bun, somehow looking messier than normal, and her dark eyes slightly widened with desperation. She feels a little more awake and skeptical about this. And an oncoming headache.

"What do you need?" Kat asked with suspicion. She’d honestly just like to go back to bed. Before the noise she was about to drift o
ff into sleep after working through paperwork.

And now considering that the question was simply, "how to obtain another human being," she had a right to be concerned and wish to leave.

"I need to know how to get boys," her roommate said with all seriousness.

"I'm not helping you kidnap a man, Jat. Go ask Yumei," was her quick response, already attempting to close the door on her roommate, despite them also technically living here.

Ehh, they'll manage.

"Wait wait wait wait-," Jat sputters, putting her hand through the door in a feeble attempt to keep it open.

"I mean how do you get boys?"

Silence enveloped the scene whilst Kat opened the door again and stared at Jat incredulously.

"What."

"Y-you know? Boys, man, men, guys," Jat started spouting.

"As in a boyfriend?"
Kat couldn't believe this. Someone asked her for relationship advice. Her, of all people, really made it humorous. Every boy in highschool would walk the other direction from her. Well they don’t know that so..
Thinking back on it actually, Valentine's Day was around a month from now but even thinking of Jat with anyone in a romantic relationship was utterly ridiculous.

Opening her mouth to quickly shut down her roommate and say, 'no clue,' a stroke of genius came over and she quickly changed her words.

"I-, need payment for that type of information," Kat said with a blank expression, leaning onto the door frame extending a hand out.

It's now Jats turn to stare at her roommate, mouth gaping.

Kat watched Jat slump and reach for her coat pocket and pull out a one dollar bill and hand it over with little protest.
Kat was shocked at this action, as Jat usually tries to weasel out of paying anything that Kat decides to lock behind a price wall. So either this is really important to Jat that she wants to make sure she gets good information or Jat is sick and isn't thinking straight.

Taking and folding the dollar to fit into her pocket, Kat answers with a monotonous tone, "So I've never really dated anyone before, or even talked to a boy. . Like that."

Unexpectedly but sort of expected, Jat pounced.

Sidestepping further into the unit, Kat easily dodged the 6ft missile. Speaking of which, they’re now currently sprawled on the floor with shoes littering around them and the shoe rack fallen to the ground.

"Ow," Jat proclaimed weakly.

“Why of all people did you ask me anyways?”

Jat gets up and, ah there’s the Jat that I know, glares at Kat.
