As he studies her face, he's shocked by the amount of familiarity he feels towards this stranger. The warmth of her palm as their hands touch gives him a sense of relief that he isn't the only one of his kind. "Jane?", he repeats after her. Swinging from vine to vine, he catches up. Mimicking her behaviors, most would think that his obsessive compulsion he has towards her is a stalker-like behavior. But I can relate to his curiosity and need to feel included. Because just like him, I also live in a world of gorillas.
