In a room where every nook and cranny is illuminated by the most brilliant lights, there is not a single inch of darkness. The room's right side was entirely encompassed by a large mirror that reflected a parallel universe in which every object was flipped to its opposite side and ballet barres were mounted on the walls. The floor was made of planks that shone smoothly, much like the glass in the vase.

A group of females were arranged in rows of five, arranged in groups of four, with their hair pulled back in a bun and dressed in pink ballerina tutus. Standing besides me on the side was a woman in her mid-thirties who seemed to be surveying the area. Her hair was blonde and styled like the sun, and her black top showed off layers that gave the impression that she was about to dance. Her demeanour was sophisticated. Her appearance suggests that she is their teacher.

Within one command from the instructor, "2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6" the girls gently pressed their palms on the ballet barre within one line and began to swing their right leg up while waving their right arms in the air.

They were able to finally take a break from all of the jumping and dancing after an hour. While some of them could not even move their feet, others immediately threw down their butts and leant their backs on the wall. Ari let out a soft breath and closed her eyes for a brief period. The scent of the orchids in the room wafted into her nose like petals of a flower blowing in the breeze.

All of a sudden a voice called out, "here." Right in front of her eyes was a water bottle with someone's hand holding it from the right side. She turned her head to find another standing by, her hair was bright and her expression was sweet. It was Maddie

Ari calmly grabbed the water bottle from her and smiled, "thanks Maddie,"

"You're so talented, Ari, with just a few steps you were able to keep up with Ms Laurent's instructions so quickly" Maddie commented, "how did you do that?"

"Honestly, I don't know" Ari replied, she looked up for an instant, then calmly raised her shoulders. Ari was not sure how to respond to her enquiry. Ari, on the other hand, leapt without seeming like a white swan floating in the river, while some of the students, including Maddie, readily collapsed to the ground earlier with every one of her directions. "maybe it's because I learn fast that's why"

"Or maybe it's because you were enjoying it so much" at that moment, another jumped into their conversation and sat right next to Ari on the other side. Her skin was brown like wood, her hair braided into a bun entirely and her expression was cheerful.

Ari smiled at her, "Hey Phoebe"

"Phoebe, so nice of you to join us" said Maddie,

Phoebe was one of Ari's classmates, seated two tables away from Ari and El's seat. Maddie and Phoebe had never before told anyone in the class that they were taking ballet classes or even that they were friends. While Maddie was rather shy was willingly showing her love for ballet, Phoebe was very reserved and kept her distance from the other dancers during class. She was the athletic type, participating in soccer matches, for example.

Phoebe leaned in slightly closer to her and "you know, I was right next to you the whole time and I could tell there was smiles on your face"

"Hmm, I guess you're right" Ari continued, "I've never danced before in my entire life and I couldn't help but feel overjoy in this"

"Same with me" Phoebe added, "I never really liked dancing until my mum signed me up for this class" Phoebe began to shook her head slightly with her shoulders hunched, "seriously, surprises always show up out of a bloom"

Ari titled her head and giggled lightly. Her lips were folded upward when she spoke, giving Ari the impression that she was a cranky monkey. Given that Phoebe is African and that monkeys were the ancestral humans before humans evolved, it is clear from her skin tone that the two species share some similarities. "True, Phoebe," she replied.
