"You build me up to watch me fall you have everything and you still want more"

• In a Hurry? •
____________________I woke up and quickly got dressed, I was eager to finally get out of this house.
As much as I love aunt Narcissa and Reg, I like not having to fear for my life every minute even more.
Well not really I just really wanted to be away from Tom, after not seeing him for months, suddenly being in the same house as him drove my anxiety over the edge.
I got downstairs and waited for the house elf to bring my breakfast.
It was very early so I was probably the only one up, hopefully that is.
She timidly placed my plate in front of me with shaking hands while keeping his head low and avoiding any eye contact.
I smiled at her innocence. She was probably traumatized from all that went on in this hell house. The deatheaters probably abused her for their entertainment.
Her scars, burns and bruises were evident. She seemed a sweet little thing, fragile and broken.
I thanked her with a smile and she looked up at me with her eyes wide. She's probably never had such gestures shown to her.
I smiled softly at her surprise. "What's your name?"
"T-Toppin." She stuttered.
"It's nice to meet you Toppin, I'm Sylvia."
"L-Lady Black." She said. She was probably taught how to address everyone. I've seen her call aunt Narcissa as Mistress Malfoy, aunt Bellatrix as Mistress Lestrange, and Reg and Draco as Master Black and Malfoy. She would probably be punished for calling us otherwise.
I nodded and she slowly backed away into the kitchen while I sighed and turned to my breakfast, It was simple and looked pretty good and I was really hungry.
I took a bit and zoned out a bit until I heard a chair scraping the marble floor. I looked up to be met with him. Of course.
He flashed me his signature smirk, at this point it was getting overused, before sitting down across from me and picking up his fork and inspecting it while waiting for his food.
I immediately looked down to avoid his gaze and anything to do with him.
"You're up early." He started.
"Mhm." I said while looking at my plate and stuffing another piece of toast into my mouth to avoid having to talk. I heard him chuckle.
"In a hurry?"
Giving an indirect answer would probably encourage him more so I decided to speak.
"Don't wanna be late, punctuality is key." I mentally cussed myself. His smirk grew, he seemed to notice my rush and how nervous I was.
Luckily Toppin brought his plate and set it down in front of him before bowing.
"Thank you, Toppin."
"Of course Master Riddle." She said before quickly walking off with her small skinny legs.
I looked up at her in surprise. She seemed use to this greeting from Tom. The fact that he thanked her was very surprising. He noticed my shocked face at his words.
"You think very lowly of me, Black."
No shit.
Talking back would probably result in more well talking so I kept quiet and didn't look up from my plate.
I tried to finish my food as fast as I could. I could feel his eyes burning into me while he chewed his food slowly while I swallowed bit after bite. A grin playing on his lips while tried my best to not look up.
I finally finished and wiped my mouth before chugging a glass of water and getting up and turning around. I had my bag with me so I didn't need to go back upstairs and I turned for the door where a deatheater stood waiting for me. I could still feel Tom inspecting me while eating his food and looking grown at the daily prophet in the table now and then.
"Don't forget, you're coming with us for 'training' after classes, don't be late." His voice ran shivers down my spine as I gulped and mumbles a small 'yes' without looking back.
I reached the huge doors and the deatheater gave his hand for me to take for us to apparate.
"And Black." My posture stiffened hearing him again.
"Say hi to Snape for me."
I could practically hear the smirk in his voice knowing how nervous he made me. I nodded before taking the deatheater's hand and apparating away.
He left me at the gates of hogwarts and disappeared. I entered, walking through the empty corridors to reach the great hall. As usual, deatheaters swarmed the halls, the silent pleads of muggle borns could be heard. The halfbloods kept a low profile and kept their heads down and talked in hushed voices. Even the pure bloods seemed unhappy with the arrangement.
I walked toward the slytherin table to look for Cleo, to find her on the floor picking up her books while looking down while two pureblood girls I didn't know were standing in front of her laughing and kicking her books.
I ran up to them and kneeled down to pick up the remaining books and handed them to Cleo and offered her a smile before turning to the girls.
"Ladies." I addressed. I didn't red to speak much, they were already scared of me, their families were pure blood and wealthy but no where near the Malfoys and the Blacks, I did have that, power, power I didn't want but at situations as such I held high with pride.
Their faces dropped and immediately filled with fear as they apologized before scurrying off.
"You okay?"
"What the fuck? You left me yesterday with no notice and you didn't even come back!" Cleo yelled. I could understand her frustration, she was worried for me and I was for her.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have but you know how aunt Narcissa can be."
She sighed, I could tell she was still upset, who knows what hell she had to go through without me.
We sat down and she had her breakfast while I told her about what happened, with Tom, the meeting and how I was supposed to attend 'training'.
She was worried but understood. We laughed talking about how scared the girls looked.
It was time for class. As much as I wasn't looking forward to it, I was more worried about after classes, the universe can not leave me alone.
Let's at least hope the day flies by.
