Egan hurries to get dressed in the clothes Felicé brought for him. Just a simple maroon----button up and kacky----pants. He then puts his boots back on. He assumes these clothes are old ones lended from the father or the brother. He buttons the top all the way up until the last one. He leaves that one unbuttoned.

Egan then combs his hair back with his fingers. Squeezing the excess water out so there's no longer water dripping from his wavy hair. Then he proceeds to slick it back.

He then walks out back to the house, stepping in to smell an amazing scent. He knew that whatever was being cooked must taste amazing. Egan looks over to see beer on the table and sees Biddick drinking away. "May I have one, sir?" Egan asked the father. Her father just nods. He looks a little wasted. Egan pops open a bottle of beer before taking a seat on the stool at the isle at the kitchen. He manspreads----slouching just slightly in a very attractive way and starts drinking his beer. Egan glances over at Felicé. His eyes always wandered off towards hers, and she at this point was already looking at him. He can't help but notice the disappointed face that Felicé has. Egan looks at her with a confused face just to get met with her spinning back around to ignore him.

"Major! We got a letter written back, it's from Major Cleven." Biddick reaches over the isle to hand the letter to Egan. It has confidential written on the front.

Hello, I'm glad yall have made it out safely, we are soon coming up with a mission right now to save yall, we just recently found out the germans are planning to evade the French, half of its territory and we are setting out some of our men over to help out, on that boat u will come and cross back. We. Need you Major. Our team is falling behind. 5 deaths.
-Major Cleven

Egan sighs, learning the news of 5 new deaths. Then his attention comes back to the fact that the Germans are planning on evading. He doesn't know where, and this is bad. He can't call to talk over the phone because no one knows if the phone has been wire tapped. Egan asked for a pen and a piece of paper to once again write to Major Cleven.

Your letter has been received. Send a letter as soon as possible with information you have received on the whereabouts of the Germans, I am on the east coast of France. Reach out as soon as possible. And may the 5 men rest in peace.

"Fuck." Egan curses under his breath before stepping outside. He pulls out a cigarette and a zipo and starts smoking. Egan is not one to smoke or drink regularly, but at a time like this, he feels as if necessary.

So much is going through his head. How can he warn the people in France? How does he tell this family that they might die? Can he rescue as many people as he can? The questions are endless. His mind then trails off to Felicé.. Will he ever see her again?

Felicé takes a step outside to check on Egan. She rests her hand gently on his shoulder to comfort him. Egan, in return, grabs her hand off his shoulder and takes her other hand in his. "Felicé, don't freak out, but my men just found out the Germans are coming to invade here, we must stay calm until we find out where, but I need your help. I need help with pinpointing the closest towns and helping them evacuate." Felicé pauses, just staring at him in disbelief. Then her mind starts to wonder.

For the next few days, Egan awaits to receive a letter. He has only told Felicé, he has not told Crosby nor Biddick. He also has avoided telling Felicés family. Finally today they received a letter back.
