My work shift was finally over after a long thirteen hour day I made my way through the parking garage to my vehicle. Finally powering back on my cell. Curse the no personal phones policy in the hospital. I get that HIPAA is very important, but so is my sanity.

Finally reaching my car. As I unlock it my phone finally comes to life and I see all the texts from Amber. Plopping into the driver seat I hook my phone up to the stereo and play the song that pops onto Pandora which is Heaven by Julia Michaels. Something about the song really enticed me since watching the Fifty Shades trilogy. Amber had forced me to sit through them all two weeks ago and insisted that the male lead was to die for.

Blaring the song through my speakers as I drove back home. It was reaching close to ten at night as I pulled into the driveway and parked the Jeep. My exhausted body stumbling towards the door. Putting the key in the lock while pushing open the door with what energy I had left to manage. The warm air hitting me instantly as I shut the door. My whole body warming. I walk over to the dining table plopping my belongings down. Shuffling to the couch I plop down stretching out and laying back. A moment later a pinging noise sounds from her side. Picking up the phone I swipe up to unlock the phone and notice a new notification from the tinder account I had recently made. I start browsing through the different type of guys before noticing I had a new match. Pushing the matches and preparing for the worst outcome as all the recent matches lately had been men way unattractive to her. Looking like old grandpas and men her dad's age. Finally the screen loaded to reveal a young male. He had piercing blue eyes and dark blonde hair that was cut just enough to leave some hair on his head. His pale skin complimented his eyes enough. The gray sweatshirt he wore in his profile photo making his eyes stand out. Clicking on the arrow to pop more of the profile up. I scroll down to read his interests and bio. Seems like an outgoing guy I think to myself. Bada bing. The sound of a new message on tinder sounds as I flip over to messages and my mouth almost drops. The eye candy had sent me a message.
Hunter the name read on his profile which she had not realized before being so allured by his eyes.
Hey. Did it hurt when you fell from heaven cause you look like an angel. Pickup lines aside though. My name is Hunter. How goes it?
Hesitating a moment to think of response to the message as I let out a small giggle at his corny pickup line. I type back.
Hey. I am Joy. I have not heard that pickup line in a while. Going good though. How are you?
A few minutes later the message sound goes off again and I open it write away.
I am doing well. What are your plans for the night?
No plans. I just got home from work and am wicked tired.   I respond quickly and let out a yawn as I hit send on the message.
What do you do for work? You must work hard. He responded only a minute later.
I read the message then looked at the time on my phone it was a little pass midnight. Thinking to myself that I should tune in for the night and respond in the morning would probably be best or I would be up all night. Having tomorrow off was a pleasant thought in my mind as I grabbed the wolf soft fleece blanket hanging off the back of the couch. It was just one of the cheap throws I had bought from the local Walmart because wolves just had happened to be my favorite animal. I pulled the blanket up around my five foot two body and curled up. Tomorrow was Friday and I had plans with Amber plus a few of the girls from our bumble friendship site to go to a Halloween Festival happening in Norfolk. Norfolk was not too far of a drive and I loved anything to do with Halloween so I agreed to tag along.
