Noah's POV
"Noah! Get your big fatass up, the school bus is gon' leave your ass!"I slowly got up from bed. Why can't there be 6 months of summer? Or even a year? Ugh I hated waking up to the sound of my mom yelling. I walked to my drawer and picked out a gray shirt and black pants. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
"You damn idiot the bus left you! You're not even changed, look at you!" My mom was standing in front of the door way, cross armed and mad.
"I can walk it to school, I always have. Now move out the way so I can brush my damn teeth." I replied pushing past her.
"This is why you had to repeat sophomore year! You always fuckin' up and it's the first day of school, god damn it Noah step up!" She yelled exasperated.I shook my head a chuckled lightly. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the sink. I got my toothbrush and put toothpaste on it.
Crazy old bitch.
I began brushing my teeth while trying to fix my hair. I smelled my armpit just to see how much I stunk.
Bro, you fucking stink like smoke & beer.
I washed my mouth and headed back to my room. I got my phone from my bed and put on my shoes. Now all I needed was my cologne?
"Mama! Where's my old spice!?" I yelled out.
"Up your motherf*cking ass!"
Well that was no help.
I grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs. I grabbed my skateboard and a banana for the road.
"Mama I'm leavin'!" I called out again.
"Hold up, here's your cologne. Now be a good boy on your first day! I don't want to find out you got yourself in trouble with them kids now. You understand?" She passed my Old Spice.
"Yes ma'am." I snickered.
I ran out the door and began skating it to school. I sprayed some cologne on me and put it in my backpack. I took out my phone and checked the time. It's 8:05, so much for making it to school on time.
Hurry up you idiot, you still got ten minutes 'till the morning bell!
I raced towards the school, hoping I'd get there early enough to not miss home room.

I got to school at exactly 8:30 a.m. I was looking around for my home room. I've been ditching everyday last sophomore year so it's hard telling where the hell my classes are.206 cmon 206 where are ya...?
Aha!
I found 206 and walked in casually. I scanned the room carefully. There were a lot of jocks sitting on the right side of the room and a bunch of black chicks on the left. The front were taken by girls and some geeks. All that was left was the back, which had like 3 gangster lookin' dudes.
"May I get your name please?" The home room teacher cut me in mid-thought.
"Uh Noah, Noah Diana. What's your name miss?" I asked ever so politely.
You're an imbecile.
"Ms. Martinez, you may sit in the middle in the back row." She continued.
I sighed and didn't bother arguing. I sat in my seat and took out my phone. I got 3 messages from my home boy Bobby.
Bobby: Aye fuu wya?
Bobby: yo let's ditch today c'mon!
Bobby: ah fuck you then.
Me: fuu I just got at school. Suck my dick I'm not ditching first day. You're a retard you know that right?
Bobby: you a fuckboii.
I shook my head and smirked a bit. Leave it to Bobby to ditch first day. I put on some earphones into my iPod and began scanning for a good song to listen to.
"Oh shit sorry I'm late! I got lost, this school is really big, uh is this 206 Ms. Martinez?" A girl with long black hair and a black sweater burst into the classroom. Everyone just glanced and looked away, like she was nonexistent.
"Yes, please watch your language. May I get your name?" Ms. Martinez asked.
"It's Ruby. Ruby Stone." She replied.
"I don't have a Ruby Stone.. Are you Ro-"
"I liked to be called Ruby please." She interrupted.
"Um yes, please take a seat next to... Mr. Diana over there. Raise your hand please."
I saw some people turn their heads and some of the dudes were snickering. I hated my last name. I slowly raised my hand and rolled my eyes as Ruby sat next to me. She didn't pay much attention to me, but I sure payed a lot of attention on her.She looks like a freshman, and she's short as hell compared to me. She's probably like 5'3. She's so pale but she's cute in a way...
I shook my head in disbelief. When have I ever thought a freshman was cute? Not ever. I think she caught me staring, but I didn't care one bit. She took her binder out, and some paper. I couldn't see what she was drawing.
"May I help you?" Ruby finally snapped.
"Uh, what you drawing?" I asked clumsily.
"Why do you care?" She replied.
"I didn't say I cared now did I? I just wanted to know. Dang self conscious much?" I said snidely.
She began to blush red hot, it was easy to tell when she got embarrassed because of her pale face.
"Please leave me alone.." She murmured so quietly I'm not even sure I heard her right.
*DING DING DING*
The bell rang for 1st period. Everyone ran out the class, including Ruby. I ran out after her. I saw her heading upstairs when my next class was downstairs. I followed her anyways.
"Ruby wait!" I yelled out.
She stopped in her tracks and turned to face me. Her face was still red.
"What class do you have next?" I asked politely.
"Listen here junior, I don't care if you're older than me but you have no right to be picking on me! I'm just a freshman so leave me alone!" She blurted out and began speed walking the other way. Of course I followed her.
"Wait! I'm not picking on you! I'm not a junior either, I'm a sophomore. I failed last year so here I am. I'm not ashamed and I'm not picking on you!" I caught up with her.
Why are you doing this, leave her alone.
"What do you want then?" She asked shyly.
"Let me walk you to class, yea?" I said reassuringly.
She gave me her schedule and like I figured, she was walking the wrong way. I lead her down the stairs and right to her classroom.
"Uh thanks Noah." She blushed again.
"No problem, uh when can I see you again?"
What the fuck kinda question is that Noah?
"Um whenever I guess hehe we go to the same school?" She giggled.
"Oh right well I'll see you after school during home room again." I smiled.
She nodded her head and went into her class. I noticed I had 3 minutes left to get to my class or I'm officially late. I ran for it and hoped the tardy bell didn't go off until I got to class.
