The week went quicker than wind. Tomorrow is the day in which America is going to leave for a visit to the Russian Kingdom. Everything needed for the visit were already arranged. Britain told him all the things that he will have to discuss with the Soviet Union. Being the highly intelligent person he is, he understood everything quickly and planned everything out. He also decided to take his diary along with him, as he likes to record his daily activities.
The kingdom prepared gifts for the kingdom they were visiting. According to them, a lion, 10,000 gold coins and a golden box decorated with the most valuable jewels were the ideal gift. America liked flowers, especially roses, so he decided that he shall gift the heir a rose with a hundred petals, made out of pure gold. There was a shining red Ruby in the middle of the petals. It's stem and leaves were decorated with green emeralds.
After all the arrangements were done, he went to sleep on his bed. The bed felt very comfy and warm. He got a bit sad because he knew that Russia was a cold, icy kingdom.✿the next morning✿
America woke up much earlier than usual. He quickly changed to his royal outfit and had breakfast. He bid farewell to his parents and brother. All of them wished him good luck."Good luck, son. Make the nation proud. We will be waiting for your return."
"Good bye, Meri! I will be waiting for you. Mon Dieu, please protect my child!"
"Bye Ame! *whispers while leaning closer* hey, will you finally get a wife? Heard that some of Soviet's kids are really beautiful, especially the one named Ukraine."
America smiled and gave his parents a hug. Canada got a hug too, but it was too tight, so it was more like strangling. It was clearly a payback for his teasing comment.
America got into the royal carriage and waved goodbye to his family. Soon the horseman whipped the horses and so, the journey began. It was going to be a very long journey.
-Time skip brought to you by Canada, the best brother in the world-
America was reaching closer and closer to the destination. He knew this because of the decrease in temperature. He was now wearing more thicker, warmer clothes. He was really bored by this long journey and hoped that he could reach the Russian palace soon. He layed back on his seat in the carriage and closed his eyes. He was woken up by his guard's voice saying "We are almost at the palace, Your Highness."
America quickly sat straight and fixed his appearance. He took the golden rose and placed it in the inner pocket of his coat. He planned to give it to the heir personally. The other gifts would be carried by the gaurds. He looked through the window and saw the palace at a distance. He thought that it was just as big as his palace, but this one was not as brightly coloured.
Soon they reached the huge metal gate of the palace. It was guarded by two soldiers wearing fur hats. America read in a book that this type of hat was popular in Russia and was often associated with Russia like a stereotype in other nations. He also read that it was called an Ushanka. America's gaurds showed them a letter with the royal seal of the Russian Kingdom. The gaurds examined it carefully and after a small talk in their native tongue, they opened the gate for them.
The royal carriage entered the castle premises. America got out of the carriage and looked around the new surroundings. It was very different from his palace indeed. A gaurd came upto them and lead the horsemen towards the stable.
Soon, America was greeted by one with a flag on his face. So he assumed that it was Moscow, the capital of Russia."Zdravstvuite, Menya zovut Moscow. Priyatno poznakomitsya." He continued after a pause, "Greetings, myself to be called Moscow. It is a pleasure to meet you, Prince America."
Moscow held his hand out. America smiled and shook his hand. He found his Russian accent fascinating. "Greetings, Moscow. It is my pleasure to be here."
"Follow me, sir. His highness is waiting for you. We shall move your belongings to your room, which I shall show you later." Moscow said and quickly turned and walked towards the courtroom.
America followed him, glancing at each and everything around him with curiosity. Finally they reached the courtroom. There, King Soviet was sitting on his throne, proudly.
Moscow spoke to him in Russian, and America was only able to understand a few words. He could understand the words like horses, gifts, room etcetera and that gave America an idea of what they were talking about. Then, Moscow bowed to the king and just, left. America guessed that the king ordered him to. He watched as Soviet Union got up from his throne and walked towards him. The tall, well built man came down the flight of stairs with his head up with pride. A smile was nowhere to be seen on his well defined face.
Soviet was probably the only country that is taller than America. The only ones who was almost as tall as him were his father, and brother Canada. The Soviet union had a tall and strong frame, and there was rarely a smile on his face. He had an eye patch covering his right eye. The eye patch had a golden hammer, sickle and star on it. His left eye was gold in colour. The Soviet Union implemented very unique laws and ways of ruling on his kingdom, much different from other kingdoms, different even from the ruling of his own father. Even if the life of people is worse compared to other kingdoms, the people like him more compared to his father. Rumours say that he killed his father, but it is not confirmed, as there is not much evidence. All that the others know is that his father died a sudden death, under mysterious circumstances. Not many rulers were present at the funeral. But the USSR is mostly known as a cruel man with a cold heart, so him being responsible for his father's death is not impossible or hard to believe.
"Privet, Prince America. How was the journey? What do you think about Mother Russia?"
America gave a warm smile and replied politely, "Greetings, Sir Soviet. The journey was quite nice with all the view. The ambience here is very much different from my motherland, and I really liked it."
"You must be tired from the journey. Moscow shall lead you to your room. You will be called at the time of dinner."
"That would be very nice. Thank you."
When America turned, he was surprised to see Moscow already standing there.
"Please come with me, Sir America."America followed Moscow. Moscow lead him to America's room. America thanked him.
"You shall call me when you need something, Sir. I will be leaving now."
Saying this, Moscow left. America closed the door to his room and layed on his bed. He was enjoying his time in Russia. Now he couldn't wait till he could taste the delicious Russian meals. He read a lot about them and was really eager to taste them. He also wanted to meet the heir of the throne, maybe they will meet during dinner? Most Probably.
America got up and sat down to write his diary. He wrote the things that happened till then, he will fill in the remaining later, after dinner.
