Cossette Haven Black is Jacob's cousin. The two had always been fairly close since they had grown up together.

The Cullen's, plus Cossette, stepped outside the house, making sure Cossette stayed behind the family and beside Emmett.
She looked over his arm and noticed her Mother wasn't in her wolf form yet, most likely to be able to properly communicate with the Cullen's.
"Get your cold-blooded hands off my daughter!" Emmie ordered as Emmett's infuriation only grew, gripping onto Cossette's waist a little tighter, but not enough to harm her.
"We don't want any harm, Miss Black" Carlisle began, his hands in the air in front of him as Emmie took a small step foward.
"I won't allow my daughter to hang around with your kind" Emmie seethed as Sam Uley, who had always had a thing for Cossette, growled beside her.
Cossette pushed pasted Emmett, who attempted to reach out for her arm, but she carried on walking as she pushed past the rest of the Cullen family.
"You don't get an opinion on this, Mother. I have been friends with them since they moved back and they've treated me better than this pack ever has" She admitted, stepping infront of her Mother who looked furious. "I don't fit in with the pack. Nobody understands me because I'm not a wolf like the rest of you. The Cullen's don't care, they like me for who I am"
Emmie scoffed slightly, "No Dear, they like you because you're a fragile little human! We're going home, now" She insisted, grabbing ahold of Cossette's arm to begin dragging her away.
The Cullen's rushed towards the two, Emmett quickly grabbed ahold of Cossette and flipped her around so she was now on his back.
As Emmett grabbed ahold of Cossette, Emmie raged which quickly transformed into her wolf form.
"Get Cossette out of here" Carlisle insisted to Emmett, who quickly nodded before running into the forrest.
They could hear a wolf chasing them and when Cossette turned around to see who it was she was met with Sam's dark stare.
Emmett quickly jumped into a tree and Cossette tightened her grip on his cold, stiff body. Sam growled angrily as he attempted to climb up the tree with no luck.
Emmett continued to jump from tree to tree until he knew Sam had given up with chasing the two. He held onto a branch as he helped Cossette also hold onto the branches beneath him.
"Do you think we'll loose any members of the pack from this?" Cossette asked, looking up at Emmett.
He looked down into her eyes and continued keeping a firm grip on the branch before kissing the tip of her nose. "Nobody will die from this. A few injured perhaps"
After a little while of sitting in the tree and admiring the view, a loud howl could be heard. Cossette looked up to Emmett with worry who quickly tossed her over his shoulder and back onto his firm back.
He ran back to the Cullen house in just a matter of seconds where the wolves had transformed back into their human states, each with a few minor cuts and grazes across their bodies, except for one who was completely unharmed.
Cossette climbed off Emmett's back and slowly walked over to the only remaining wolf. He had dark, black fur and bright blue eyes. She recognised him instantly.
"Cristiano?" She muttered. He stepped back before also transforming into his human self before pulling his sister close to him.
"Where have you been?" She asked, as tears filled her eyelids. Cristiano ran his palm across the back of her head gently in a calming way.
"Come on," Emmie could be heard insisting to the rest of the pack before they walked off into the woods, helping Cossette catch onto the fact that they must've lost.
"Travelling. France and Italy mostly" He answered to his sister, who now had a big smile spread across either sides of her face, revealing her deep dimples.
"How angry is Mother?" Cossette asked, looking up at Cristiano who she hadn't seen in over a year.
Cristiano often disappeared without telling anybody. He didn't get on well with their Mother and he often felt like an outcast to the rest of the pack. The only person he could ever relate to was his twin sister, Cossette, but she didn't have the heart to just disappear with him.
"Insanely. You coming home with me?" He asked, glancing over to Emmett who was stood beside the rest of his family.
"Yeah, yeah just give me a second" She muttered and she turned on her heels to face her attention back to Emmett. "I'll see you later" She smiled, standing on her tiptoes to try and kiss his cheek.
He chuckled and instead bent his head down to kiss her forehead. "Yes you will" He retorted with a cheeky smile playing on his face, with Cossette didn't quite understand but just took it as him being cute.
Cristiano nodded towards the Cullen family, as if to say goodbye while Cossette waved at them with a smile on her face.
They all waved back politely as Cristiano climbed into the drivers seat of Cossette's car.
Cristiano drove back to their house, which he was returning to for the first time in a couple of years. He had returned a few times to see Cossette, but she hadn't heard from him at all recently.
When they opened the double doors, which were much bigger than they needed to be, the smell of liquor filled their noses.
Their Mother had often been a drinker and she tried to keep it as hidden as possible from the public eye since the last time she was caught drunk. Her face was plastered all over the covers of magazines not even a week after her husband's death.
"Just try to stay out of her way" Cristiano muttered as he quietly stepped up to the second floor behind Cossette, who was also trying her hardest to be quiet in fear of getting a lecture from their rather drunk Mother.
A few hours had passed and it was now getting late, Cossette was sat in her bed with a book in her hands as she heard a loud bang on the side of her house and a slight shaking sound.
She jumped in shock at the sudden noise and glanced over to her window, quickly sighing with relief when she saw Emmett. "What are you doing here?" She whispered shouted as she opened the window for him to climb in.
"Edward was going to watch Bella sleep and I stole the idea off him" Emmett smirked as Cossette got back into her bed, laying her head on Emmett as he sat beside her.
"Bella?" Cossette asked with a hint of confusion after hearing the mention of the new girl. Edward could never seem find somebody who was good enough for him, especially a human.
"Yeah he keeps going on about her, we're all hoping he's finally found someone" Emmett chuckled as Cossette smiled in return, trying not to fall asleep.
Emmett slowly bent down and gently placed a kiss on her head. "Goodnight, princess"
