LOVERS PEACE | We Found Peace
Three years later...
KENZO trailed behind his father to the lime green Lambrogini parked in front of their home. A mug covered his face as his Spiderman backpack bigger than him ruffled with every step he took. He kicked the gravel with each step, making a rock hit the back of his father's ankle.
Christopher turned around and immediately got down to the five year old's level. He roughly grabbed his shirt and pulled him so they were face to face.
"Kick another rock at me Kenzo. Get your fucking act together or I'm going to tear your ass up right outside the school in front of all your friends! Get in the car," His voice loud and stern. He let go of the little boy and stood to his feet.
Kenzo glared at his father with dark orbs and anger as he clenched his fist but he knew better than to say anything. Christopher then quickly opened the passenger backdoor and made Kenzo climb into his red booster car seat. Double checking that he was strapped in, the father slammed the door making a loud thump but Kenzo wasn't fazed one bit.
He sighed and rubbed his forehead as Sa'hora took a step out the front door with a Marvel themed lunchbox in her hand. Christopher quickly ran up the steps to meet her. Seeing his soon to be wife instantly calmed him down. He gave her a small smile as her protruding six-month stomach poked out under the shirt she had on.
"He forgot his lunchbox again," she sighed as he took it from her hands.
Christopher bend down and gave her a kiss. "I told him to grab it from you, I don't know what his issue been lately but I swear me and that little boy going to fight if he keep on,"
"Maybe he is just not adjusted to school yet,"
"No, he will be six in a couple months. I think it's time for him to get evaluated. He is becoming more belligerent by the day and I have caught him having more hallucinations and I don't want my son to go through what I went through,"
Sa'hora sighed nodding her head in agreement. Her biggest fear was coming to life and as much as she tried to brush off Kenzo's behavior as normal for a child, it simply wasn't.
"I will make some calls. I only have to see three clients today so i'll have some downtime. I'll send you what I find and we can make a decision tonight,"
Christopher nodded then gave her another kiss and one to her stomach before jogging down the steps to the car to take Kenzo to school.
Sa'hora sighed stepping back into the two-story family home as they pulled out of the driveway. She rubbed her belly as the baby moved around as she walked up the grand staircase to the second level.
Life has done a complete one eighty for the couple over the last three years. Sa'hora successfully became an associate for Better Mental Associates and had been practicing for the past two years. She had built up multiple client relationships and found her love for psychology all over again; working with people who seemed to be going through things she could now relate to.
She wouldn't be able to do so without the help of her therapist. Her and Christopher both had been in therapy for the last three years. Both having their individual therapist and one they visited together. Therapy had definitely saved their relationship and each other's own self.
