Chapter 2

Meg hoped Castiel didn't hear her say that and to her luck he didn't. "So looks like we have a couple of classes together Clarence" Castiel just gave her the confused head tilt again. "You're gonna break your neck if you keep tilting your head like that" Meg laughed while Castiel continued to look at her.

"I don't think that could actually happen"Castiel said seriously. "I know I'm just messing with you" Meg didn't know how but she suddenly just found herself liking Castiel and she rarely likes anyone. She just looked at him and smiled and he smiled back at her with a tiny grin."I'm not usually friendly with people" Castiel just gave her a look of disbelief "Why would you not be friendly?"

Meg couldn't bring herself to say that she put on a tough girl act to cover up how she had been abused by her ex boyfriend that she didn't want to play the victim and seem weak she was too pissed off at him for it sure she was sad about it but she was pissed at herself for letting someone do that to her. She was mad that he actually hit her and ruined her life. She wasn't going to let him ruin her life any more.

"Well a lot of people don't deserve to be treated nicely" Meg said a little too harshly. Castiel looked at her like he wanted to ask what that meant but dropped it.

"So does that mean were friends?"Castiel asked her nervously." Yeah unless you wanna be more than friends" Meg winked at him. Castiel did the confused head tilt again then looked out the window to see that they have arrived at school." Looks like we're here" they then proceeded to walk off the bus and then stopped at the front door.

"Are you ready to go in?" "I'm ready as I'll ever be" Meg said reluctantly. They both just really looked at each other for the first time and Meg noticed that Castiel had messy bed hair that was such a dark brunette that it looked black it really did bring out his blue eyes and that his lips were chapped even though it wasn't winter and that his white button up shirt was wrinkled and that he looked really tired like he has pulled a lot of all nighters.

Castiel looked at Meg and noticed that her hair looked a little messy like she didn't brush it also her hair was medium length and was brunette with curls. He also noticed that she was pale but not too pale and that her purple shirt was also wrinkled like his and that she had black boots that she probably wore to make her look taller. He didn't know what it was about her that made him like her it was probably because she did most of the talking while he listened and that there was no pressure for him to make good conversation.

They stopped staring at each other and walked in where they were interrupted by two guys one was really short and eating a sucker while the other one was about average height and had a mischievous grin on his face.

"Well would you look at that looks like cas got himself a girlfriend already" Meg noticed that he had a accent and the other one just laughed while Castiel just blushed and said" Balthazar would you quit embarrassing me in front of my friend"

"Oh so you two are just friends?"The short one said with disbelief."I don't believe that little brother"Balthazar said while wiggling his eyebrows. Meg didn't want to make Castiel mad at her by being rude to his brother so she just stayed silent."Well believe it because that's how it is" Castiel said with annoyance. Balthazar just put his hands up and said "Sorry brother you should know I'm just joking around with you it's my duty as a big brother" " It's fine just don't do it in front my friend its embarrassing" Castiel said while blushing. "Okay will do it was nice to meet you" Balthazar said and then he turned and walked off while the short one followed.

"So what was up with his accent?"Meg asked with an eyebrow raised up. "Well Balthazar started talking like that a few years ago because he thinks girls are more likely to hook up with him and then it just stayed with him" Meg couldn't help but chuckle at that while Castiel just gave her a look of confusion."I don't understand how that's funny" which made Meg laugh more because he said it so seriously when she stopped she put a hand on his shoulder and said "Sorry it just funny since he thinks girls will fling themselves on him for it and how he can't stop talking with it anyway who was the guy with him?" "He's my other brother Gabriel he's more of a prankster"

"Oh interesting so how many brothers do you have?" "I have two other older brothers they're in college and I have a sister named Anna" Just as Meg was going to answer she felt someone shove her and she almost fell on Castiel but he caught her before she did Meg turned around with an angry look on her face that could kill if looks could that is and when she saw that it was her best friend Jo her face instantly softened.

"Why did you shove me?" "Because you didn't answer when I called your name" Meg just chuckled and Castiel just stood in silence and watched Meg shove Jo back while they were laughing."So what did you have to tell me?"Jo looked at her with concern then said"Well its bad news Crowley's moved back" As soon as Meg heard her all of the color drained from her face and her heart just sunk as she felt terror rush into her.

"Who's Crowley?"Castiel suddenly said and Meg jumped as she heard him. "Oh sorry didn't see you there I'm Joanna but call me Jo "they shook hands then Castiel said "My names Castiel I'm new here" then Castiel turned to look at Meg and saw that she had a look of pure horror then he said" Meg are you ok?" Meg suddenly snapped out of her imagination then said "Yeah of course I am" Castiel and Jo still seemed concerned but dropped it anyway.

The bell suddenly rang and then they turned and started walking to their classes. "So do we have the same first class?"Castiel asked meg while looking at his schedule."Yep sure do just follow me"When she turned to look straight ahead she saw him and her heart just stopped while fear and shock hit her at once. He looked at her with an evil smirk on his face Meg swore he was pure evil and he looked like he was going to grab her when he noticed Castiel he gave him a look of confusion while Castiel just look like he wanted to hurt him sort of like he knew Crowley was up to no good.
