Turns out the person...or thing? That taped Akina's shoulder wasn't a 'person' at all. It was her pet Griffin, Loas. Loas cawed and perched on a great oak tree. "Loas, I can walk no need to worry" she said solemnly and began down the path. Loas flew over her and stood infront of her. "What am I going the wrong way?" She asked the Griffin. Loas stayed silent and crouched down. Akina sighed and climbed up on his back. "If you take me off course I swear". The Griffin huffed and rolled his eyes. With a deafening caw he spread his wings and took off. "What? The mushroom forest? There's nothing there!" Loas ignored her commentary and landed in front of a small path only few could see. Akina gave the creature a questioning look as she ascended Down the path into the mushroom forest. "I get it now...there's a key" she said to herself and opened a box that lay at the end of the path. The wind picked up and entire 'trees' swayed due to lack of leaves...and being actual trees.
Akina opened the box with care and looked inside. "Hmm...two things perhaps...a key and a map?" She asked herself and collected both items. "Loas, time to fly!" She said and ran over to the creature and hopped on his back. "To the mountains" she said looking at the map.
