As Wonder Boy hovers the wreckage he sees the super villain known as Mammoth and his sister Shimmer. Who is trying to get Mammoth from rampaging through the city after being shot by the police who recognized him.
"STUPID POLICE, YOU NEVER SHOOT THE MAMMOTH!"- Mammoth
"Oh geez."- Shimmer
*Chargers and hits anything in his way*
"I need to clear the field so people don't get hurt and then go head to head with Mamm-"- Wonder Boy
Before he could get a sentence out, Wonder Boy sees Robin swoop in and land on to the charging bull and guide him away from the scene while being chased by shimmer.
"Fuck I guess I gotta chase them."- Wonder Boy
In the chaos as Mammoth goes through building and building trying to get Robin off of him, Wonder boy chases them and as he does so he is almost hit with a shimmer-y object.
"Stupid heroes, you are only making it worse!"- Shimmer
"HEY!- At least we are trying to stop him!!"- Wonder Boy
The ground shakes thunderously as buildings crash as mammoth plunders through them, Robin struggles with hanging on, thankfully going through the buildings he is ducking, he reaches for his belt for his staff and he smacks mammoth in the head knocking him into a wall and throwing him and Robin on the ground.
"Mammoth??!"- Shimmer
As shimmer makes her way Wonder Boy shoots a bolt at the ground warning her to stop where she's at.
"Stay right there and if you don't mind put these on ya."- Wonder Boy says as he throws handcuffs at her
"Pff you heroes.."- Shimmer
As she catches the handcuffs she uses her power to throw them back at Wonder Boy causing a fight.
"Guess its the hard way."- Wonder Boy
Meanwhile Robin gets up after being tossed to the ground, and sees mammoth standing over him, and is about to crush him with his fist. He bolts over almost being a pile of broken glass and hits Mammoth with his staff only to make him even angrier.
"UGHHH stupid bird!!"- Mammoth
"Hey now I'm not the one with half a brain cell."-Robin
Mammoth charges at Robin who dodges to reveal a steel pole which knocks Mammoth out.
"Too easy."- Robin
As he stands their he sees shimmer fly by after being hit with Wonder Boy's magic, who swoops in to finish her off and then Robin lays a blow to her head with a kick.
"Great job Wonder Boy."- Robin says sarcastically
"Thanks oh wait you don't mean that."- Wonder Boy
"No."- Robin
"Could you cut me the slack geez."- Wonder Boy
" Why would I? You could have endangered people."- Robin
"I didn- SHIT I forgot to clear the area!!"- Wonder Boy
"Exactly my point."- Robin
"Ugh whatever, if it wasn't for you interrupting-"- Wonder Boy
"Interrupting?! This is my city."- Robin
"Technically Batman's city."- Wonder Boy coughs
"Either way people almost got hurt with a few injured and you could gave gotten hurt."-Robin
"I know- wait did you say me?"- Wonder Boy
"Captain Gordons been called and the police are on their way." -Robin says while cuffing the villains with meta human handcuffs
"You heroes don't understand we were just walking on the sidewalk!"-Shimmer
"It doesn't matter, you both combined have committed enough crimes to earn a death sentence in most countries."- Robin
"Robin you didn't answer my question, also this isn't right if they didn't do anything wrong?"- Wonder Boy
"Even if they didn't they are still criminals, which is why with that mindset Gotham would be doomed in your hands."- Robin
"Hey now?!"- Wonder Boy
Robin grapples off as Wonder Boy is infuriated at the comments made to him by Robin, Soon the police arrived and he flew back to college. Wonder Boy got out of his costume and went about his day, he was stuck on one comment that Robin made which was that he told him he could have gotten hurt. Why would someone so infuriating say something like that. I need to get back to Brody
"Oh hey Drake."- Brody
"Oh hey Brody."- Drake said with a conflicted face
"Is something wrong you look upset?"- Brody
"Oh no, I'm just stuck on something."- Drake
*3 hours later *
Both Drake and Brody end back up at the dorm after walking, Drake is still pissed at the comments made but didn't and couldn't do anything about it which ate him up more on the inside. Brody stares at him more and more seeming concerned as Drake really didn't know how to not make it unnoticeable.
"Are you sure ur ok?"- Brody
"I'm fine."- Drake
Brody didn't like that response but he didn't wanna pressure him to answer, but also was wondering why he cared so much about someone especially a guy.....(they arrive at the dorm)
"Well imma go shower"-Brody
"Uhm ok"- Drake said confusingly
"WHY THE FUCK I SAY THAT"- Brody said in his head
As the atmosphere was awkward and Brody went to take a shower, Drake went and pout his headphones listening to his Spotify playlist as he does his chemistry homework trying his best to overlook the interaction as much as possible. Meanwhile Brody is in his own world thinking and contemplating why does he care? Just why?
"I'm not gay."-Brody
"I don't like guys like that, but Drake....idk"-Brody
As the night went on both of them didn't speak a word as Brody didn't know what to say and Drake was just tryna drown everything out. As Brody looked at his phone he received a message from Barbara about the analysis she undertook of the norn stone.
Barbara: Hey, finally analyzed this norn stone... it seems to have some sort of magical power to it
Drake: oh, might be why Black Mask wants it but for what reason?
Barbara: well, it seems to be in some sort of collection of Greek gods that were used by Ancient Greece to contact the Gods
Drake: hmmmm still don't know why he wants it?
Barbara getting there....
