Hello! Welcome, to my first attempt at writing some fan fiction!! :)

I'm still not sure why I chose to base it around JJCC (Jackie Chan Joins Cultures) but that's hardly the most important thing ever!! (Despite my undying loyalty to BTS, BAP, Big Bang, VIXX ect.)

Anyway, I really hope you enjoy reading this story and don't forget to vote and comment!!

Actually, feel free to comment any biases you have (JJCC or not)!! :)

Media is my favourite JJCC song - Leaving You Rough (love, love, love this song!!!!)

And a gorgeous picture of Seoul!! Night shoots of cities are always the best!!

You always dreamed of moving out of home the first chance you got, but didn't expect to have to move halfway across the world for your first, full time position. Oh well. It was too late now, seeing at you were in black car with a driver who insisted in very poor English to call him 'Jo'. You gaze out of the tinted window at the tall buildings as they whizz pass in a blur of neutral colours, appearing duller then any street back home.

Deep breathes, you tell yourself as you try to settle the twisting anxiety in the pit of your stomach, you'll be fine.

But will you be? Really? In this strange place, with a foreign language and customs you still didn't one hundred percent understand despite years of K-Pop obsessions? It was this obsession which had led you to learn very basic Korean years earlier, and you plan on continuing the language study while working.

Why did you always regret things a second too late to fix them?

"Visiting?" Jo asks with a thick accent and you meet his gaze in the review mirror.

"Not entirely", you try out your very basic Korean skills, "Working."

"Aah", Jo exclaims his understanding, "Very good."

You nod, unsure of whether this was a question, a statement or something else entirely. Suddenly, the car pulls to a very abrupt stop in front of one of the buildings and you glance back at Jo, now unsure about what you're meant to do next. Luckily, the door closest to the sidewalk, and furthest from yourself, swings open before you can clear your clenched throat and reveals a relatively tall, darkly dressed male.

"Annyeonghaseyo (Hello)", he greets with a cheerful grin and extends a hand into the car towards you. "Stacey-ssi?"

"Yes", you say quickly and shake his hand, "Annyeonghasimnikka (How are you)?"

"Formal", he says continuing to smile as he eases himself into the car, "I'm JJCC's manager, Mr Kim."

You nod your understanding, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Thank you. Now, I will take you to your living quarters and then we will come back to the office and I will introduce you to Soo-jin who will be your mentor. She is one of the main stylists and has plenty of experience to help you settle down."

You have to concentrate hard to follow his accented English, but at least it is understandable or you would be in some serious trouble.

"Okay. Thank you. Gomapseumnida (Thank you)", you say after a short pause, the twisting in your stomach not letting up.

Your apartment is tiny but sufficient; but you will be living on your own out of two average sized suitcases. It's not like you have much to find space for. This thought starts the slow creeping of homesickness to begin its advance into your chest and up your throat. You really are a long way from home, but once again you remind yourself why you are doing this. Gaining experience within an industry as tumultuous as that of the Korean music one, with a company such as the renowned Jackie Chan's will be unsubstitutable in the future. It must have been almost pure chance that you were been chosen to begin with since you've never worked a fashion related job in the past. You glance around the apartment again; luckily furniture has been provided with a small, low table in the middle of the main room and a bookshelf against the wall, a basic single bed sits in the adjoining room. There is also a fridge and oven, and working water. Jo and Mr Kim had been nice enough to carry a suitcase up each, while you dealt with your 'hand luggage bag' which weighed more than 7kgs but had slipped by customs undetected. Now, you look at those suitcases sitting on the floor in your tiny bedroom from the tiny main room and take a deep breath.

"This is really great", you say turning to face Mr Kim, "Thank you so much for organising all of this."

"That's okay", Mr Kim replies and motions towards the front door, "Let's go back down to the office now."

The trip back to the office passes much quicker than the previous one, but you still wonder how you will get to work every day. The distance seems too far to walk and the idea of public transport a little daunting, but you will have to work out something before tomorrow. Before tonight actually, since you need to get back to the apartment and it is doubtful Jo will wait around as he is hardly your private chauffeur.

The car pulls to a stop at the same building as before and you quickly follow Mr Kim out of the vehicle and into the cool building. Standing in the lobby area is a tiny, relatively pretty lady dressed in a loud purple top and dark jeans. You take her in with the rest of the room, still feeling completely overwhelmed, as Mr Kim greets her and after chatting quickly in Korean turns to introduce you.

"This is Stacey-ssi", he motions towards you and continues the statement in relatively quick Korean.

You're able to pick out a few key words and it seems that they are simply discussing what you should be told and shown.

"Annyeonghaseyo (Hello)", you say with a quick bow once Mr Kim stops talking.

"Annyeong (Hello)", the lady replies easily, "I'm Soo-jin. Follow me, I will show you where we are."

"Okay", you say and follow Soo-jin in bowing slightly to Mr Kim before moving towards the elevator.

"You're from Australia?" Soo-jin asks as you both step into the metal box.

"Yes", you reply quickly.

"I'm from Hong Kong", she offers you a smile which you return. "Now, there's a lot to run through especially with JJCC's comeback only a month away and everyone working frantically. First we'll get you a staff card and then I will show you all the rooms you need to be familiar with and facilities. It's a small space. Ready?"

"Definitely", you reply and are proud that your voice sounds a lot more ready than you feel.
