''what did you want to talk about?''

mapleshade grinned and sat down next to appledusk. she lifted her paw to reveal her diluting stomach. ''im expecting kittens!'' she smiled. looking over to appledusk who was shocked!

''really?'' he meowed, his tone was excited! i smiled even more brightly ''yes! im serious!'' i giggled. ''i wonder how would they look like..'' i purred. appledusk purred back ''i hope atleast one of them will have my swimming skills'' he winked. i chuckled and pawed his face. nuzzling him. finally.. these kits were a sign that he couldnt leave me at all! no one will be able to steal appledusk from me! i unsheathed my clawed and pulled appledusk closer. purring.

appledusk turned around and purred ''well, its time for me to go. my excuse was to catch some fish!''

i purred back ''ill see you sometime then! same excuse here but not for fish.'' i chuckled afterwards and turned around, he leapt into the water and  i began to walk towards the muddy paths..

what i did not know.. there was another shecat hunting with him..

i peeked into the ravine and padded downwards

no cat was guarding the enterance? wow. what great security. i snickered. padding towards the preypile with a rumbling stomach. i scanned the prey in said pile. biting at a mouse and walking to the warrior den. trotting over to my nest and plopping down. nipping and chewing down the mouse. consuming prey for once! i sighed, resting down my head....

''MAPLESHADE!'' screeched a cat. frecklewish... i arised my head grunting at the cat ''WHY DID YOU EAT THE LAST MOUSE?!'' frecklewish spat. i scrunched my nose ''what?.. there was two in the pile! i took one!''

frecklewish lashed her tail ''YOU KNOW MOUSE IS MY FAVORITE!''

i pinned my ears at the cat ''But there was tw-!'' frecklewish nicked a claw through my ear. i hissed standing up with a bristle, towering over frecklewish due the height difference.

frecklewish winced although she continued to lash her tail and snickered ''next time dont eat the last mouse!''

i rolled my eyes and rested back down. plopping my head down onto the moss. my nicked ear bleeding a little, but not much.. i attempted to return to sleep.
