Author's POV
"Miss me, pup?" the man asked, his voice echoing in the silent room as he removed his mask.
"Heeseungiee," Jake gasped in disbelief, throwing his arms around the older man and burying his face in his chest. He inhaled deeply, savoring the familiar scent of Heeseung's cologne as if there was no tomorrow.
Heeseung chuckled lightly, his hand gently stroking Jake's hair. "It's only been two days, pup," he said, noticing the tight grip Jake had on his shirt.
Tears welled up in Jake's eyes as he whispered, "I missed you, Heeseungiee. Please, get me out of here." His voice broke on the last words, his tears spilling onto Heeseung's shirt.
"Shhh, it's okay, pup. I'm here now," Heeseung reassured him, his hand never leaving Jake's hair. "Let's dance for a bit while we wait for my men to get in position," he added, winking at the younger man.
Jake's POV
Heeseung and I swayed together, our bodies moving in sync with the music as I watched his men stealthily taking their positions. One of them was even behind the man I was being forced to marry.
"What are you thinking about, pup?" Heeseung asked, his hand gently caressing my head. I loved the feel of his hands on me, so gentle and comforting.
"Nothing much. Just... why are you so calm? We could die here, you know," I said, looking up at him. His face was unreadable, a stark contrast to the chaos surrounding us.
"Trust me, pup, we'll get out of here safe and sound. Let's just enjoy our dance, okay?" he said, his hand moving from my head to rest on my waist.
"Hyung~ he's looking at us," I whispered, my eyes darting to the man who was supposed to be my groom.
"Who?"
We both turned to look in the direction I was pointing, revealing the man I was forced to marry, his eyes filled with rage.
"I think he's mad," I said, quickly looking away and back at Heeseung.
"He doesn't have the right to feel that way. You're mine," Heeseung said, his grip on my waist tightening. I could see his jaw clenching, a sign of his growing anger.
Author's POV
The man glared at Jake and Heeseung, his eyes burning with rage as he took a step towards them. But just as he was about to reach them, Heeseung smirked, feeling the cold metal of a gun pressing against the man's back.
"Gotcha," Heeseung's voice was laced with victory as Sunghoon held the gun steady against the man's back.
"Don't even think about moving," Sunghoon warned, a trace of amusement in his voice. He shared a knowing smile with Heeseung, the tension in the room palpable yet they seemed unfazed.
"It's over. Look around you," Heeseung commanded. The man's eyes darted around the room, taking in the sight of Heeseung's men who had skillfully surrounded and outnumbered his own.
A string of curses slipped from the man's lips as the realization of his defeat sank in. Heeseung's men were everywhere, their weapons trained on him and his outnumbered crew. His gaze fell on Jake, who was still safely in Heeseung's arms, and his fists clenched in helpless rage.
Heeseung's victorious smile didn't waver. "You lost the moment you tried to take what's mine," he said, his voice cold and hard. The room fell silent, the only sound being the man's ragged breathing.
With a swift motion, Sunghoon disarmed the man, and the others quickly followed suit, disarming the rest of his crew. The room was filled with the clatter of weapons hitting the floor and the murmurs of Heeseung's men.
With the situation under control, Heeseung turned his attention back to Jake. "Let's get you out of here, pup," he said, his voice gentle again. He guided Jake away from the chaos, his hand protectively around Jake's waist.
As they left the room, Jake couldn't help but glance back at the man he was supposed to marry, now defeated and disarmed. He felt a strange sense of relief and gratitude towards Heeseung and his men. Despite the danger they were in, he felt safe with Heeseung.
And in that moment, Jake knew that as long as he was with Heeseung, he would always be protected.Author's POV
As Heeseung escorted Jake out of the chaos, the defeated man could only watch helplessly. His plan had failed miserably, and he was left to face the consequences. The last sight of Jake, safe in Heeseung's arms, was a bitter pill to swallow.
Meanwhile, Heeseung and Jake made their way through the labyrinthine corridors of the grand building. The once lively music and laughter had been replaced by an eerie silence, punctuated only by the distant sounds of Heeseung's men securing the area.
They finally emerged into the cool night air, the chaos of the evening replaced by a serene tranquility. Heeseung led Jake towards a sleek black car parked discreetly at the side. He opened the passenger door for Jake, ensuring he was comfortable before closing it gently.
Circling around to the driver's side, Heeseung slid into the seat and started the engine. The purr of the motor was a comforting sound in the quiet night. He glanced at Jake, his eyes softening at the sight of the younger man's exhausted face.
"We're safe now, pup," Heeseung reassured him, reaching over to squeeze Jake's hand. "You did well."
Jake managed a weak smile, his eyes drooping with fatigue. "Thanks to you, Heeseungiee."
As the car pulled away from the grand building, Jake leaned his head against the window, watching as the lights of the building grew smaller in the distance. He felt a sense of finality, the chapter of his life that had been forced upon him was now closed.
He turned to look at Heeseung, the man who had saved him, his protector. He felt a warmth spread through him, a feeling of safety and comfort. He knew that whatever the future held, he wanted to face it with Heeseung by his side.
With that thought, Jake closed his eyes, letting the gentle hum of the car lull him to sleep. Heeseung glanced at him, a soft smile playing on his lips as he drove into the night.,(Timeskip)
The car pulled up to a secluded villa nestled amidst a lush landscape. The moon cast a soft glow over the property, illuminating their path. Heeseung turned off the engine and glanced at Jake, who had fallen asleep during the drive. His face was peaceful, the stress lines from earlier smoothed out in slumber.
With careful movements, Heeseung exited the car and walked to the passenger side. He opened the door gently and scooped Jake into his arms, cradling him close. Despite the weight, he carried Jake with ease, a small smile playing on his lips as he looked at the younger man's peaceful expression.
His men, already stationed around the property, nodded in acknowledgment as Heeseung entered the villa. The grand staircase led him to the second floor, where a long corridor lined with doors awaited. He made his way to the last door, pushing it open with his foot.
The room was spacious and bathed in warm, soft light. A large bed sat in the center, its sheets turned down invitingly. Heeseung moved across the room and gently laid Jake down on the bed, taking a moment to remove his shoes and jacket. He brushed a few strands of hair off Jake's face, his touch as light as a feather.
Instead of leaving, Heeseung moved to the other side of the bed. He removed his own shoes and jacket before sliding under the covers. Turning onto his side, he watched Jake sleep, his heart filled with a mix of relief and contentment. They were home. They were safe.
He reached out, his hand resting lightly on Jake's arm. The younger man stirred slightly in his sleep, turning towards Heeseung's touch. A soft sigh escaped his lips, and Heeseung couldn't help but smile.
As he closed his eyes, ready to succumb to his own fatigue, he felt an overwhelming sense of peace. Whatever challenges the future held, they would face them together. For now, they had each other, and that was more than enough.
With that comforting thought, Heeseung allowed sleep to claim him, his hand never leaving Jake's arm. The room fell silent, save for the soft sounds of their synchronized breathing, a testament to their shared comfort and trust.Heyy y'all I'm back with this chaptah,I'm really really really sorry that you have to wait for so so.
