CHAPTER 9

Third person's pov
After eating the group went home. The maknaes went together since their homes were near each other. The oldest members in the group walked together.

Youngjae and Dohoon were talking about the new project they got and how they'll do it. Shinyu and Yerim walked together in silence looking at the other two.

"Hey do you have any upcoming tests?" Shinyu asked breaking the silence.

"Yeah I have an english test on thursday." Yerim answered and looked at him. They stared at each other for a few seconds before looking away.

"I-"

"I-"

They both said at the same time and looked at each other.

"You go first!" Junghwan said.

"I think I like you." Yerim said quietly praying to god that he didn't heard her.

"I think it's safe to say that I feel the same way." Yerim looked at him in shock.

"You like me? Stop joking around!" She said hitting his shoulder.

"I'm not joking. It's just a little crush you could say." He said looking at her seriously.

"You wanna know why I said yes to tutoring you? It's because I always liked you a bit." Junghwan said.

"How...?" Yerim asked confused.

"Your brother really loves posting about you....I saw his Instagram posts. I liked how unserious you always were." He said honestly.

"I used to think that maybe I just needed a friend like you but I realised that I already had Dohoon who was just as goofy as you."

"When I finally met you in the university I didn't knew why I offered to help you with your assignment." He continued.

"I kept calling you kid and tried to deny these feelings because I thought I was a bit older that you. I said yes to being your tutor to get closer to you. While teaching you I realised that I did actually liked you." He said and smiled while Yerim looked at him shocked.

"But you're only 1 year and 6 months older than me." Yerim said.

"Right......" He said.

"So you actually like me?" She asked still not being able to believe it.

"Yes. But it's ok if you suddenly feel weird-"

"No idiot I like you! A lot...." She quickly said.

Junghwan turned towards her and smiled at her.

"Will you let me court you then?" He asked.

"Yes!" She said happily.

Kim Dohoon's pov
"Finally!" Youngjae said. We both actually heard their conversation. They didn't even realised that we stopped talking to hear them.

"Yeah...." I answered looking at the two. I don't know why I couldn't bring myself to be happy for the two. I felt fucking weird and uneasy.

What is even wrong with me today?

"Can't believe my baby sister is finally gonna get herself a boyfriend." He said smiling.

"This is nice." I said nodding.

"You don't look very happy though." Youngjae pointed out.

"It's nothing I just ate too much." I lied looking anywhere but in his eyes.

"Okay..." He said.

"Hey you both let's go!" He said which snapped the two out from their world.

"Oh- yeah!" Shinyu hyung said laughing. The both sent each other lovely smiles.

We walked in silence until we reached my house. I waved at them and closed the door.

"Is he ok?"

"Yeah he said he just ate a lot."

I heard them talking outside. I sighed in disappointment. I couldn't believe myself.

Fuck! What is wrong with me? Wasn't I the one who was shipping them both?

I need to get my shit together. I can't lose my friends.
