CHAPTER 12

Choi Yerim's pov
I sighed looking at Dohoon's contact. I've been messaging him but he's not answering. How did everything turn this way? I......I came in between them. I stared at my room's wall as my vision got blurred with tears.

"Yerim! Dohoon is here!" I heard Youngjae yell from downstairs as I quickly wiped my tears.

I heard someone knock at my room's door. I quickly looked at myself in my phone's camera.

"Come in!" I yelled at Dohoon walked in inside my room.

"Hello Dohoon!" I said smiling.

"Hi..." He said quietly.

"Are you ok?" I asked and motioned him to sit beside me on the bed.

"I should be the one asking you that. You were the one crying." He said making me look at him.

"What do you mean?" I asked looking away.

"You were crying. Your face looks red." He pointed out.

"I wasn't." I said as my eyes again got teary.

"Don't lie. I know you did." He said as finally my tears fell down.

"Hey look at me." He said as I shook my head. He bent down a little to have a look at my face. I turned my face away from him.

"Oh my god please don't cry!" He said panicking. He wiped my tears.

"I came here to talk to you! Not to see you cry!" He said. I laughed as more tears fell from my eyes.

"That's the Yerim I know! The one who laughs all the time!" He said and smiled.

I wiped my tears and look at him.

"Dohoon.....I'm sorry." I said and smiled at him.

"Why are you sorry? It's ok. It's just a silly attraction. Maybe I am thinking that my admiration is attraction. I don't know what I feel. I don't know if I like him or not. I don't know why I told you that I liked him even when I, myself was not sure. " He said sighing I held his shoulder and turned him to look at me.

"It's doesn't matter who you like.....you should know that we will be there. And even if you don't like anyone that's fine because we are with you!" I said seriously.

"Thank you Yerim.....and I'm sorry." He said looking down.

"It's ok. It's none of our fault." I said and hugged him. He hugged me back.

We pulled back after some seconds and looked at the front again only to see Shinyu in front of my door with the door of my room wide open. There was an unreadable expression on his face. He looked down and turned around and left.

"Shinyu!" I called him but he didn't looked back. I sighed as Dohoon patted my back.

"Go talk to him." He said as I nodded and went after Shinyu.

"Hey Youngjae! Where's Shinyu?" I asked my brother as soon as I got down.

"He just left. He didn't looked very happy. Did something happen?" He said worriedly.

"I'll explain everything to you later!" I said and quickly left the house to go find him.

I anxiously ran towards his house's direction I saw him not far away from me.

"Shinyu!!" I yelled but it he acted like he couldn't hear me.

"SHINYU!!!" I yelled even louder this time but he didn't stop.

I quickly caught up to him and held his hand and forced him to turn around and look at me.

"What's wrong with you?! I kept calling you but you didn't answer." I asked him a bit angrily.

"What are you doing here? You should be home. Dohoon must be waiting for you." He coldly stated.

"Were you jealous?" I asked with a laugh.

"No." He said.

"Oh my god!" I stated laughing.

"Don't laugh at me!" He said pouting and looked away.

"Hey! Look at me Shinyu!" I said and held his face and made him look at me.

"I hope you know that I would never leave you for someone else. You are the only one whom I love. I will love you even when no one else will." I said seriously. He kept looking at me as soon his eyes got teary.

"I love you too and I'm sorry. I just have a bad dating history. I just couldn't help but overthink when I saw you with Dohoon." He said looking down.

I took his hand and rubbed the back of his hand.

"You know you can't just hurt someone just because you had a trauma. You don't know how much you worried me when you just left from my house. And you don't need to worry about Dohoon because he doesn't like me." I assured him. He nodded still looking down.

"Come on now! Let's go back home. I think it'll rain soon." I said looking at the grey sky and dragged him back to my house.
