Tutor - Shin Junghwan (Shinyu) [Completed]

CHAPTER 3

Choi Yerim's pov
I sat in my arts class. Today is the day I'll give my assignment, i.e. Monday. I just hope Mr. Ban likes it. One thing about him is that he hates me because "I don't really have the talent to be an artist". Well I feel the same way about him so there is no problem.

I don't really wanna become a painter even though I love painting. I wanna be a sculptor. That's what I love.

"Next! Choi Yerim!" He called out and looked at me.

I walked up to the front to give him my assignment. Not gonna lie I'm nervous as hell because he loves humiliating me. Last time he almost threw away my assignment when there were other kids who's assignments were worst than me.

I handed him the assignment. He looked at the paper for a long time.

"Very good. It's really beautiful. You have definitely improved! I knew you could do it!" He said and gave me a small smile. I smiled back to not seem rude even tho I wanted to bang my head against the wall because everyone was looking at me and talking about the painting. Some complimenting it and some insulting it.

"Where did you got the inspiration from?" He asked.

"I wanted to make this painting about a world I would love to go to, a perfect world to do adventure and discover new things. I also asked a senior about some ideas for the assignment." I answered.

"This drawing really reminds me of Shin Junghwan who's in his third year! His drawing style was kind of like this." He stated making me look at him a bit shocked.

"Oh- I actually asked for his help." I said.

"I see that he helped you improve. Very good! You can go to your seat!"  He said as I bowed to him and the class before walking to my seat.

"Wow she took Junghwan sunbae-nim's help!"

"I wonder if they are close...."

"Isn't her brother Junghwan sunbae-nim's friend?"

"Yeah I always see them together."

Great. Just great. Now I'll be the talk of the class. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"You did great!" Dani said from behind me. I turned around and gave her a big smile mouthing her a thanks.

Ring~

Finally!

I quickly grabbed my phone and went to the cafeteria and looked for the signs of my brother and his two bestfriends.

I quickly went to their table putting my lunch down.

"You are eating lunch with us today?" Dohoon asked.

"Yeah. Hope you don't have any problem." I said.

"Nope! You can sit with us!" Shinyu said.

"Oh! Danielle!" Youngjae called Dani from behind me. She smiled and walked towards us.

"Can I sit here?" She asked.

"Yeah sure!" Dohoon said.

"Where is Suhyeon?" I asked her as she sat down.

"She is sitting with Donghyun." She answered.

"Her boyfriend right?" Youngjae asked.

"Yep!" I answered.

"Shinyu, thank you! Because of you Mr. Ban really loved my painting." I said looking at him.

He nodded.

"He is his favourite student." Youngjae said.

"Yeah by his words, I could tell that." I said remembering how Mr. Ban was praising Shinyu.

I saw Shinyu leaving the table after finishing his lunch. I quickly got up to go after him.

"Where are you going?" Danielle asked.

"I have some work! See you in class later." I answered and ran after him.

I saw him near his locker.

"Hey." I called him.

"Hi? Is something wrong Yerim?" He asked looking at me for any signs of danger.

"No....I just wanted to ask you about my proposal....but if you still want time, you can have it!" I quickly said.

He looked at me for a few minutes.

Damn I think I should really start looking for a new tutor. I thought a bit disappointed.

"Okay! I will teach you on the weekdays after school." He said making me look at him immediately.

"Thank you! You don't know how badly I need needed a tutor. I felt like I was gonna fail." I said happily.

He laughed and patted my head making me blush.
"It's ok kiddo!" He said.

Kiddo. Right.
