September 9th, 2006

The sun had just begun to rise, everything was quiet and everyone was asleep, except a little 6 year old girl, that was preparing the green backpack that her granpa gave her on her birthday. She was so excited! This was her first day of first grade! She would've finally known someone of her age and she would've made so many friends!

She looked at her clock, it was 6:50 AM and now she only had to get dressed. She skipped towards her closet and opened it. She didn't had much to wear since her parents usually buy clothes only to her twin siblings, Sara and Alessandro, but her granpa sometimes would've given her some money to buy them. She grabbed a yellow shirt with some flowers on it, white stockings, a white skirt and a pair of yellow sneakers, she changed and looked at herself in the mirror. She couldn't help but giggle a bit when seeing her pretty reflection.

Her alarm clock went of and another one that was in her parents room went off at the same time. She walked towards her bed and sat on it. After about five minutes, some heavy footsteps were heard approach to her room and the door burst open. It was her father.


"GIORGIA WAKE UP AND GET-" He stopped for a few seconds and looked at her from head to toes.

"I'm ready!" She said, in an excited and happy tone, while kicking her feet.

Her father looked at her, frustrated. He sighed. "Go and wake up your siblings." He said, in an annoyed and cold tone.

She happily nodded and skipped towards her siblings room and woke them up. Their bedroom was decorated with some pictures on the wall of them with their mother and father in different occasions, one at the waterpark, on at a restaurant and one at the entrance of a cinema. They all seemed so happy, a stereotypical family that you can find in any film, well, if it wasn't that in every picture, one of the family members was never there, Giorgia. Everytime the family would go out they would've just left the little girl at home by herself. the room had many plushies around the bunk bed where the two siblings slept peacefully.

"Wake up! It's time for out first day of school!!!" She chirped, while waving her arms.

Alessandro thrown his pillow at Giorgia, that she luckily catched, and covered his head with his blanket "Shut up and let me sleep..." 

The little girl held the pillow and frowned. Sara sat up on the bed, get down the bed, looked at Giorgia with annoyance and crossed her arms.

"You can't even wake up someone, and then you ask why we hate you." Sara pushed Giorgia, causing her to lose her balance and fall to the ground. The little girl whimpered quietly and putted the pillow in front of him, as if to use it as a shield.

"Sorry..." She said with sadness in her tone. Sara looked down at her and scoffed. 

"Let someone that's bot as stupid as you do something like this." She said. She started walking towards his brother and remove the blanket, making him exposed to the cold air of the morning.

"Susiti minchiuni." The brother opened his eyes and looked at her with annoyance. Sara grabbed the pillow that Giorgia held in front of her and tossed it at him.

"Fine, fine! There's no need to be so aggressive!" He said, annoyed while he started to sat up his bed. Sara looked back at Giorgia and sigh.

"Don't stand there like scared puppy, you asshole! Prepare your backpack or something!"
