Remy, Mary and me followed Jane to the bathroom. She pulled out two big bottles of liquid from her bag and put them carefully on the basin in front of the mirrors.
"What is it?" I said.
"One shrinks you, and the other one makes you grow," Jane said.
"They look exactly the same though," Remy said. "Which is which?""Um..." Jane looked closely at the bottles. "The labels fell off... I'm not sure."
"How much is in the bottles?" Mary asked. "Those are really big bottles."
"Enough for all four of us and probably more," Jane said."Let's try them out," Remy said, grabbing the left bottle.
"Two of us will have some each," Jane said, grabbing the right bottle. "We should go outside and try this instead. It's lunch time.""Yeah," Mary said. "Somewhere quiet so nobody gets frightened if we turn into giants."
"Good idea" Remy said. "Come on, there's a secret place in the forest."
"That's out of bounds, we can't go there," Mary said."It's quiet though," Jane said. "And there's lots of room there for giants and tiny people."
"Okay then, fine" Mary said. "Come on, Ruby" she said to me, dragging me along.
