it's been a month since he came back from chonqing and yibo was fairing very well. he has gained control of his emotions, no more breaking down at the most unexpected time. no more negative thinking as he thought of qinyang's condition but instead the hope, the spark on his heart came to life, burning and firing his everyday life. no more sleepless nights and those dark circles under his eyes was slowly dissipating

he's doing good that yibo was starting to get back to office works, slowly but surely

it's when he realizes that he's getting the grip and tells seungyoon to bring him a few paperwork so that he could work from home. warming up as he gets used to it again from not attending his works for a few months

yibo needs to work as he just couldn't expect money to rain inside his room. his bank account would be empty if he didn't so here he is, brewing himself a cup of coffee as he prepared to start working on the stack of files at his living room

"doctor song was checking her vital signs. don't worry yibo, she's getting better and stronger, you should just focus on your work" a-qing said on the other line, her words echoing as the phone's speaker was turned on

yibo leaned on the counter, waiting for his coffee to be ready as he talked to his phone that was on the counter

"doctor song?" he asked

as what yibo remembered, the only doctor seeing after qinyang was doctor wei. did doctor wei backed down? did he turned down qinyang's condition? who's this new doctor song?

"ah, actually I have a good news for you yibo"

yibo's gaze turned to the phone as he waited a-qing to explain further. what's happening?

"doctor wei with doctor song would be looking after qinyang from now on. after she, you know, doctor song volunteered too and aren't that a good news to hear yibo? the more doctor, the faster a-yang to recover! and according to them, a-yang was doing better these few days and if this continues, maybe she'll be allowed to have visitors!"

and true to her words, not long after, qinyang had been allowed to have visitors though with a limited time and limited number. but for a-qing and yibo, this was still a big progress in qinyang's side. she's healing and they're both in tears

seungyoon visited her. introduced himself as yibo's best friend though qinyang already knew him. what yibo can do, it's seungyoon's first time to meet her and even though his best friend was shameless sometimes he can't also help but to get awkward with her and show himself stupid that even yibo had tears as he laugh his ass out

Jackson also visited. it was a short visit but at least

then it's a-qing's parents, yibo can't forget that day when he secretly heard their conversation that they're going to lend some of their money for qinyang's medicines and that they can't wait to see them both in altar

yibo thought that this is it! his prayers were becoming true. not until qinyang coughed up blood in front of him and lost consciousness once again. doctor wei told them that even though they've been working hard to remove all of these benzene on her blood, the cancer was still spreading fast, even affecting her vital organs and that if this continues, qinyang will only last for a month
