The two school buildings of Ilvermorny were glowing golden in the morning light, as the Ilvermorny's Six made their way to their first class of the school year. Brick walls, overgrown by moss; the doors wide opened to reveal the white marbled hallways with the black and white checkered flooring, already crowded with students and in the midst of all, Professor Fontaine, directing a group of first years through the masses.

"What first?", Jamie muttered tiredly, leaning over Inka's shoulder to have a look at the timetable for Wampus.

"You would know, if you'd just... I don't know — showed up for breakfast?", Dotty scoffed, from behind her, aggressively shoving a piece of paper with Jamie Abernathy, Sixth year (Wampus) written neatly in the corner in her hand, alongside a wrapped up croissant, that promptly landed in her bag.

Jamie grinned brightly at her before looking over her timetable — It was a Friday, which meant double Potions first, followed by Defense against the Dark Arts and lastly History. Potions was held by Frida Bellmore in her classrooms in building A, Defense was in the same building, all the way at the top by Professor Newton. Professor Newton was an older man with awful eyesight despite his big, round classes, that he always pushed all the way to his skull, so practical lessons were rare as he couldn't see what they were doing. History was always boring and if it wasn't for Professor Spencer's excited rambling and tendecy to swerve of topic as well as the perfect view on the Quidditch pitch from his classroom in building B, Jamie would've probably long dropped the class.

The Potions classroom was as welcoming as always — A perfect reflection of Frida's personality. Cushions in purple and yellow spewn all over the room, kettles brewing in every corner, the shelves overflowing with books and a jar of candy sitting on Frida's table.

Jamie, flanked by Asher and Inka with Cyrus and Alaska across, sat at a table right at the front, which was a place, they could only be seen in Professor Bellmore's class, "You know what," Cyrus huffed, his head hitting the tabletop soundly, "I need holidays again."

"Well, Mister Harvick," Professor Bellmore laughed, suddenly appearing behind Cyrus, "Seems as if we found our first volunteer!"

"Volunteer?", Cyrus asked frustrated, lifting his head momentarily only to let it fall back down.

Well, apparently volunteering meant that a now a lot more interested Cyrus had to show the class what not to do in Potions lessons — From sprinting through the room and knocking over a kettle, filled with some black, slimy liquid to mixing a row of ingredients together, that seriously should not be mixed together; Cyrus was allowed to do it and Jamie doubted, she had ever seen him have more fun.

"I think I need to complain about class more often.", Cyrus exclaimed, as he slouched back in his seat, drapping his long legs on the table.

Alaska scoffed, pushing his legs off the table and almost toppling him over in the process, "I don't think that's it, y'know?"

"This is not the first time I tell you this and certainly not the last but I would listen to your sister, Mister Harvick. Now, since I know you all love practical lessons so ducking much—", Professor Bellmore moved on, halting slightly as all the students perked up, "We're gonna start with good ol' theory."

A collective groan sounded through the room, as a number of books flew out of the shelves and landed in front of each student, opening itself on page 17, "Since I know none of you has got your books with you.", Professor Bellmore added with a wink, "Now read, children— Read, read, read!"
