5~Imlie gave promise ✨

IMLIE POV:-

I woke up with slight voices,i streched my arms and look at my right,his not there,he is an early riser actually way early.
Sitting up and getting out from bed I moved to my bathing chamber,I saw sumitra and one more attendee making up the pool water according the temperature and some fragrance and rose petals.
Moving to partition, changing into the night attires,i wrapped myself in white satin cloth which is reaching above my knees.
They helped me to take bath with herbs and soon I dressed up in new attire and jwellery,covering my head till hairline which is filled by vermillion (unwanted vermillion).

I moved outside and reached to kitchen,I saw akshara making the sweet as per her first cooking ritual.

"अक्षरा बाईसा, लाइए हम सहायता कर देते है आपकी"
(Akshara,let me help you)

I said as I reached there.

"नही भाभीसा,हमारा कार्य हो गया,आप चलिए"
(No bhabhisa,my work is done,you go)

She replied as she took the utensil pot in her hand and two more attendees followed her.

I too moved outside towards dining area,all are sitting there in their stools,attendees served the dishes on small tables which is lying in front of every stool.

And akshara served the sweet dish (kheer) in bowl of everyone.

Me and akshara too sat besides our husbands.

Akshara and abhimanyu glanced smile at each other,i looked at my husband,he didn't even turned his face to me once.

I took a breath and all joined hands before starting the food.

We took bites and everyone praised her cooking and after that silently all finished their meals.

After completing the meal,we stood up.

Narmada maa gave akshara gold bangles as gift,dadisa gave her bangle too,Aryan gave her a little bag of gold coins.

I stepped to her to give her box which is having gold anklets.

But she stopped me and didn't take it,i farrowed my brows.

"ये उपहार है आपका,इस प्रकार मना नही करते"
(It's your gift, don't say no like this)

I said to her.

"हम मना नही कर रहे है भाभीसा, परंतु हमे आपसे ये नही बल्कि कुछ और चाइए,क्या देगी आप हमे?"
(I am not denying it bhabhisa,but I don't want this from you ,I want something else,will you give me??")

She said I look at everyone ,all eyes are on us.

I looked at her and nodded.

"अवश्य, कहिए देवरानीसा,क्या चाइए आपको?"
(Ofcourse,tell me sister-in-law,what you want?)

I asked her as i nodded.
She stepped little forward taking a deep breath she said.

"वचन"
(A promise)

She said looking directly into my eyes.
I farrowed my eyes and looking at everyone as all are having confused expression.

"वचन??"
(Promise??)

I asked in confusion.

"जी भाभीसा, वचन,क्या आप हमे दिया हुआ अपना वचन पूर्ण करेंगी?"
(Yes bhabhisa, promise,will you complete the promise give to me?")

She replied with hopefully positive answer.

"अवश्य, हम वचन पूर्ण करेंगे।कहिए क्या वचन चाइए आपको?"
(Of course,i will fulfill the promise.sY what promises you want?)

I asked giving her reassuring smile.

She looked down and then at me.

"आप जिस स्थान पर उचित है,परंतु आपको अनुचित बोला जा रहा है, वहां आप उत्तर देंगी, मौन नही रहेंगी।"
(At the place where you are right,but all are saying wrong to you,so you will give them answer,you will not stay quiet)

She stated signalling towards daadisa a little.

I looked at her, and then placing my right hand on her left cheek as cupping,i said.

"परंतु रिश्तों में उचित और अनुचित नही देखा जाता,रिश्ता में सुनना और समझना पड़ता है।"
(But there is no wrong and right in relations,in relations you have to listen and understand )

I said to her firmly.

"उचित कहा भाभीसा, रिश्तों में सुनना और समझना पड़ता हैं। परंतु सबको, केवल एक इंसान को नही"
(You said right bhabhisa,in relations we have to listen and understand,but everyone not only one person )

She said with a slight smile and tears build up in my eyes,I looked at King Aryan who is looking with blank expression।

"कहिए भाभीसा,पूर्ण करेंगी आप अपना वचन"
(Tell me bhabhisa,will you fullfill your promise?")

She asked forwarding her palm infront of me.

"हमारे यहा  औरते उत्तर देने का दुषसाहस करके राजवंशी घराने की मर्यादा भंग नही करती "।
(In us,females don't spoil the dignity of Rajvanshi's while giving answers to others)

Daadisa shoutingly interrupted in between.

I immediately took my hand back which I was going to put on her palm.

"और उचित व्यक्ति को अनुचित कहने पर, राजवंशी घराने की मर्यादा भंग नही होती?"
(And to call right person wrong, didn't spoil the dignity?"

Akshara asked back looking at daadisa.

I looked at daadisa glaring at abhimanyu, who is silent.

"दीजिए वचन, भाभीसा"
(Promise me,bhabhisa")

She asked again forwarding her palm infront of me, and this time I too put my hand on hers and hugged her.
