Intro

Y/n Y/l/n is charming, witty, and an expert with spells. She's the star student of her class of Hogwarts, always getting perfect grades and proving her worth in every class. All seems well until the arrival of a new student, the beloved bad boy, Riddle. His transfer quickly stirs up trouble and tension in the halls of the castle, leaving Y/n to navigate her feelings for him while also trying to solve the mysteries of Hogwarts. No matter what, she can't help but find herself drawn to him and soon discovers that there's more to Riddle than meets the eye.

Part 1: The New Student

The Great Hall was buzzing with chatter and excitement as students of all ages gathered for breakfast. Y/n Y/l/n sat at the Slytherin table among her friends, listening to Draco Malfoy boast about his latest Quidditch victory.

"So I scored three goals and-"

"Draco, no one cares." Y/n interrupted with a roll of her eyes.

"Only you, Y/n, only you," Draco replied with a smirk.

Y/n chuckled and shook her head, turning her attention back to her breakfast. Just as she was about to take a bite of her toast, Professor Dumbledore rose from his seat at the teacher's table, signalling for everyone's attention.

"Good morning, students," he greeted with a warm smile. 'Today, we have a new addition to our school. Please welcome Mattheo Riddle, transferring from Durmstrang Institute."

Y/n's curiosity peaked as a tall, dark-haired boy walked into the Great Hall. He was practically oozing confidence, his chin held high, and his piercing brown eyes scanning the room with a calculating gaze. Despite his intimidating appearance, Y/n couldn't help but feel drawn to him.

As he made his way to the Slytherin table, Y/n felt a strange mixture of nerves and excitement. She had never seen this boy before, and she was intrigued by his mysterious aura.

"Riddle, take a seat next to Ms. Y/l/n." Professor Dumbledore instructed, gesturing towards the empty seat next to Y/n.

Y/n's heart skipped a beat as the new boy took a seat next to her. She could feel his eyes on her, studying her every move. She resisted the urge to fidget under his intense gaze, instead putting on her signature Slytherin charm and flashing him a smile.

"Welcome to Hogwarts, Riddle. I'm Y/n." she introduced herself.

"Mattheo." he replied in a low, smooth voice.

Draco and the rest of the Slytherins were already sizing up the new boy, but Y/n couldn't help but feel a connection to him. She could tell there was more to him than what met the eye.

The rest of the day passed in a blur as Y/n struggled to focus in class. Her mind kept wandering back to the new student, Mattheo Riddle. She couldn't wait to get to know him more and hopefully unravel some of his mysteries.

After dinner, Y/n made her way to the common room, eager to dive into her studies. But as she settled onto a comfortable armchair, she noticed Riddle sitting alone at a nearby table, completely engrossed in a book.

Unable to resist her curiosity, Y/n walked over to him and cleared her throat. Riddle looked up from his book, his brown eyes meeting hers again.

"Can I help you, Y/l/n?" he asked, his tone slightly cold.

"I just wanted to say hi and see what book you're reading. I'm a bit of a bookworm myself!" Y/n replied, trying to mask her nerves with her usual confidence.

Riddle raised an eyebrow, but a small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. "It's a book on dark magic." he said, his voice low and mysterious.

Y/n's eyes widened in surprise. Dark magic was forbidden at Hogwarts, but she couldn't help but feel a spark of excitement at the thought of exploring that territory.
