So Sonic Prime, we all know that it is only three seasons long. Though at the very ending it feels unfinished and something else is supposed to happen, a cliff-hanger that will never be answered if you will.
A theory I have is that the shadow/blue blast we saw at the end was actually the chaos council after they found another way to travel over the shatter spaces. After all, it seemed like green hill was just another shatter space that got replaced by ghost hill when Sonic made contact with the prism. When Sonic was going to shatter, all the different versions of Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, and Bigg were left at the Grim, so if they didn't have any other port of transportation to get back to their worlds everyone would be trapped in the Grim. However, it is shown that Sonic, Shadow and the Roses were able to leave. So, if one can do it so can another, what if everybody eventually meets each other inside of Greenhill.
