Coming Back For You

It was a late night at the lab, all the other labs' lights were off except for the one Shuri and Riri were in.

Riri was working on enhancing her suits' strength so it has less scratches when she goes out in the field to fight and Shuri was working on restoring an old project of hers.

Working on the gauntlets was kind of hard for Shuri knowing that the last time she ever touched those was back when her brother was still with them so it really brought back painful memories.

Which is why she has trouble concentrating as she grunts in frustration and harshly puts down the tools she's holding, Riri turns around to see shuri sitting there with her hands on her lap and balled up into fists looking  like she wants to destroy the damn thing.

Riri slowly gets out of her chair and walks up to Shuri and puts her cold hand on her shoulder and Shuri slightly jerks feeling her hand on her shoulder and snapping out of whatever sad memory she was thinking about.

Riri speaks carefully as she says, "Aye, you good? You seem a lil tensed there..." shuri looked up at her, a half smile on her face as she says, "yeah I'm ok...it's just that this is very frustrating" she chuckles a bit trying to lighten the mood and it makes a little giggle erupt from the girl standing next to her.

"well if you ok then I'm ok, tell me if anything, ight?"

Shuri nods, her head turning back to what she was working on trying to somewhat gain some concentration, she breathes in and out and goes back to work...

TIME SKIP

Shuri is still sleeping when Riri knocks on her door and the sound makes Shuri wake up out of her slumber as she tries to adjust to the natural light coming in from the ceiling to floor windows in her room.

She rubs her eyes a bit and just then she hears Riri's voice...

"Shuri? Can I come in?"

Shuri then speaks, a slight rasp on her voice "come in..." Riri twists the doorknob, opening the door, coming in and closing the door behind her.

"Heyyy, I just wanted to check up on you...last night at the lab, what was it about and don't lie to me I know you like the back of my hand" she says giggling which makes Shuri erupt in a small laughter. Once she's done laughing she beckons Riri to come sit on the edge of her bed.

Shuri takes a moment before saying "it's just...what I was working on was something I haven't touched in years, I literally found it in a pile of old projects and decided to restore it but it holds too many sad memories for me to be able to work on it..." she finishes before a tear slips out of her eye.

Riri quickly gets up and pulls Shuri into a big hug, Riri's arms were around her neck while Shuri's were around Riri's waist hugging the smaller girl tight as they just stood there hugging each other until Shuri finally pulled away and Riri held her face, slowly rubbing her fingers against her face feeling the wet tears on her face.

"Hey it's ok..." Riri says in an attempt to calm Shuri down.

An idea suddenly pops up in Riri's head "Hey how bout you go wash up in the bathroom and get ready I have surprise" she said with a slight smirk making Shuri smirk herself "what are you up to Ms. Williams?" Shuri says, playfully questioning her and Riri giggles and starts to walk away "You'll find out soon enough Princess" she says.

As Riri was walking away Shuri's eyes trailed down to Riri's backside admiring the way her hips swayed with those specific black jeans, and the way her butt bounces every time she moves even in the slightest...

So deep in her thoughts the young princess didn't realize Riri had left. She snapped herself out of it realizing that if one of the Dora Milaje walks in they're going to see her staring into nothing while thinking the most horrendous stuff about Riri.

She shook her head with a smirk on her face walking to the bathroom and closing the door behind her...

TIME SKIP

"Shuri? Can I come in"

Shuri then speaks, a slight rasp in her voice "come in..." Riri then proceeds to twist the door knob, opening the door and coming in, closing the door behind her

"Heyyy, I just wanted to check up on you...last night at the lab, what was it about and don't lie to me I know you like the back of my hand" she says giggling which makes Shuri erupt in a small laughter. Once her laughter subsided she beckoned Riri over to sit next to her in her bed.

Riri quickly gets up and and pulls shuri into a big hug, Riri's arms were wrapped around Shuri's neck while Shuri's arms wet around her waist hugging the smaller girl tight as they stood in pure silence while Shuri cried silently into her shoulder.

After a while Shuri pulled away and Riri held her face, slowly rubbing her fingers against her face, feeling the wet tears on her face.

"Hey it's ok..." Riri says in attempt to assure and calm Shuri down

An Idea suddenly pops up in Riri's head "Hey how bout you go wash up in the bathroom and get ready, I have a surprise!" she said with a slight smirk making Shuri smirk herself "what are you up to Ms. Williams?" Shuri says, playfully questioning her and Riri giggles once more and starts to walk away "you'll find out soon enough princess" she says.

As Riri was heading towards the door to make her way out Shuri's eyes trailed down to Riri's backside admiring the way her hips swayed with such precision, and the way her butt bounces every time she moves even in the slightest...

So deep in her thoughts the young monarch didn't realize Riri had left. She then at that moment snapped out of it realizing that if ine if the Dora Milaje walks in they're going to see her staring into nothing while thinking the most horrendous stuff about Riri.

She shook her head with a smirk on her face walking to the bathroom and closing the door behind her...

TIME SKIP

While Shuri was ready, Riri had the time to prepare a small lunch for her and Shuri in hopes of making her feel better and to also maybe convince Shuri to go out just for one night.

Every time Riri asked Shuri if they could go out she'd always make up an excuse just to not go but this time Riri was not giving up until she got a yes.

Some time later, Shuri was coming down the stairs which made Riri look her way. She immediately noticed Shuri wasn't wearing what she would normally wear on a day where they went to the lab and worked all day, she was wearing a black Nike sports bra with a black tank top, black sweatpants and black sneakers along with gold chains and rings that compliment her skin so well, and this WHOLE thing left Riri speechless and mesmerized, so mesmerized that she hadn't noticed that Shuri had made it down and was in front of her

"Ri?"

YALLL I PROMISE (cross my heart) I WILL CONTINUE THIS BUT NOT RN BC I DINT HAVE ANYTHING WRITTEN DOWN, I've gotten into editing lately so I have been as active which I feel so sorry about but seriously I will get this done, I'm gonna create a schedule for myself to see if I can dedicate time  to my Wattpad fam 🥹💋
