"Ah..." Sighed Yae Miko

"Mmmh? Whats the matter, Miko? Is this position unsettling you?" Asked Ei

"Ei, you know you can't just hold anyone by the chin just to force them to lay their gaze upon you~"

Yae Miko stares right into Ei's eyes, and then backs up.

"Ei, there's a reason you brought me here, no?"

"...Wait, you really don't know? I thought that cunning persona of yours might've guessed already by the moment you saw me asking about your whereabouts. Poor Kuroda was trembling at the sight of me. Waiting for the time for my departure. As I spotted you, you had that weird scared fox expression on your face, as your were directly staring into my soul...I feel so foolish thinking that you actually knew why you're here. Oh and you als—" Explained Ei, however being cut off at the end.

"...Ei, you really don't have to explain further—..."

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the room goes from flirty to awkward.

"Well. Go on. Tell me now, what do you want to discuss?" Asks Yae Miko.

Ei reaches for her purse, inspecting it, until she finds a letter.

"This." Ei points the letter directly at Yae Miko.

"That Komaniya Express girl delivered it to Tenshukaku this morning, explicitly telling my shogunate to not inform anyone besides me about it. I literally thought it was a war declaration until I actually read it. Go on, read it for yourself."

The expression on Yae Miko's face became more worried again, just like the scared fox expression Ei described. Slowly, Yae Miko takes the enveloped letter from Ei's hand, and begins to open it.

Dear Almighty Shogun, we hope you are doing well. We acknowledge your precious time and we will not waste it in this invitation.

You see, Lady Guuji has been mentioning

you quite often, and quite in a romantic manner. Whether it be in latest novels, or day to day conversation with us, your almighty name is mentioned.

The purpose of this letter is to

invite you to the Grand Narukami Shrine, to have tea with Lady Guuji, so that perhaps your company will calm her down and lower her excitement.

Please think this over, Almighty Shogun,

Sincerely,

Behalf of all the Shrine Maidens

Grand Narukami Shrine

Narukami Island, Inazuma

"They got to it before me, I suppose..?" Sighed Yae Miko
