Louis was sitting in his office, in a formal suit and tie, going through a file. He pushed the glasses back so they fall off. He had been concentrating on a file filled with documents about a new person that needs to get the admission in the school. He was currently reading about the deficiency the person has and was to decide which class or level to put him in.
He pinched his nose when the phone rang and he groaned. He picked it up, eyes not leaving the papers.
"Yes?" He asked through the receiver.
"Mr. Tomlinson, you have a visitor." The lady from the front desk said.
"Does that person have a name?" He asked loosely, focusing more on the file than the lady.
"Uh, he told me not tell the name, sir." The lady sounded unsure.
"What do you mean he told you not to tell the name? Either have him tell the name or tell him to get out." Louis ordered frustratingly. He was about to put the phone when the lady stopped him.
"Sir?!"
He brought the receiver up again. "What?"
"Green eyes" The lady stated.
Louis' eyes softened. "Curly hair?"
"Bingo."
"Send him in." He sighed. He put the receiver down and thought to finish reading the last paragraph. He did chuckle lightly to himself and shook his head.
With a soft knock on the door, Louis looked up from the drawer he was placing the said file in. "Come in."
The door opened when Louis closed the drawer and he heard an innocent voice.
"Papa!" A little boy came running in (well as much of a running an almost-three-year-old could do) and made grabby hands towards Louis.
Louis laughed as soon as his eyes fell on him and immediately picked him up. "My little bug! How's my baby?"
"Miss papa" The toddler poked his chubby index at Louis' nose.
"You missed papa?" The toddler nodded. "Well, papa here missed you so much more." He said tickling the tummy, getting the child to laugh.
"Looks like I'm not needed here." Louis looked up to see the person that completed his life standing there by the door with a smile on his face and arched eyebrow.
"Get over here, you." Louis waved him over, rolling his eyes.
Once reaching him, Louis brought him closer to kiss the man's pulp lips. "How are you?" Louis asked, once pulling apart.
"Great. You?"
"Great." Louis smiled. The toddler started pulling Louis' collar, not appreciating nobody giving him any attention and whined.
"Yes, Eddy?" Louis turned to him. The toddler just put his fingers in his mouth and looked away.
"You don't do that, baby." Harry said, pulling the hand out and wiping the spit from it.
"Ready to go?" Louis asked Harry once he was done.
"Are you done with work?" Harry asked back.
"Yup."
"Then let's go?" Harry said, it came out more like a question.
"Alright. Could you hold him while I lock up?"
Little Ed was given to Harry before Louis made sure everything was alright and locked up his office. Ed, wanting Louis to carry him, leaned away from Harry and towards Louis, with small grabby hands.
Louis took him without any problem and kissed his chubby, rosy cheek.
"Here." Harry took Louis' passenger bag from him and Louis held Harry's free hand in his and they walked to the elevator.
"Granny Jay now?" Ed asked, showing Louis his big questioning green eyes.
Louis widened his eyes at his son and nodded with a beam on his face. "Yeah. You excited, baby?"
Ed nodded his head and giggled, laying his small head on Louis' shoulder and wrapping his small arms (as much as he could) around Louis' neck.
Louis had gotten Harry to a school for special kids after he gained his hearing and had helped him through till he got his degree. Harry had stopped studying once he finished his O' Levels and after the whole year Louis was his translator, he started going to school again.
Louis' gift to him for his 18th birthday had been a real blessing for Harry because since then the boy had started taking pictures again and once he finished learning words and reading and speaking, Louis helped him get a degree in photography. Now the once silent boy had his own little studio downtown which was doing fine in business.
Louis, on the other hand, had a solid post with the charity organization for three years and was then made one of the manager of one of the schools for special kids under the organization during the forth one.
It was during their third year together when Louis got Anne's blessing to propose to her alone son, of course he got it. He got down on his knee in front of Harry soon later and Harry had cried out so much and hugged and kissed Louis so much and repeatedly said 'yes yes yes' and Louis couldn't be happier.
They had a simple wedding by a lakeside with closest and dearest people only with them. Louis said his vows first and he also signed throughout, having Harry choke out a sob. Harry did just alike, because now he wanted to, and they kissed in front of everyone.
Two years later, they started feeling like something was missing. They both needed a place filled in their lives and finally after discussion and appointments and paperworks, they finally adopted a 10 months old child from the orphanage, Louis made sure their child had green eyes, just like Harry's.
Now little Eddy was almost three years old in four months, so yes time flies by quite quickly.
When they reached the ground floor, Louis waved to the lady at the front desk and they headed out.
"You brought your car here?" Louis asked.
"Nah. Took the taxi."
"Good." Louis said, leading Harry to his car in the car park.
They buckled Ed on his seat and Harry put Louis' bag in the backseat beside the child. With Harry on the passenger seat and Louis on the drivers, they headed off to Jay's place.
Things couldn't get any better, that's what Louis and Harry both thought. They both had a loving and admiring husband, a beautiful home of their own, stable jobs, a gorgeous little son, a happy family. And nothing else was wanted by either of them.
