Ennotana- Study date

[A/N Hello! Sorry for any mistakes blah blah blah. This is in Ennoshita's and Tanaka's third year btw. Also this does have some slight swearing you've been warned. Hope you enjoy!]

Ennoshita's POV
I was walking to the club room when I suddenly heard someone scream my name. I looked back to see who it was. I saw a very tired looking Tanka trying to say something. I turned to face him as I waited to hear what he was going to say. "One... second...," he said, through his seemingly endless panting.

"Can I... come to yours... after practice for studying?" He said through even more panting. "Sure." I replied, then continued to walk to the club room. Leaving a slightly dumbfounded Tanaka behind.

When practice ended Tanaka came up to me following me to the club room. When we were done changing and getting our stuff Tanaka ran up to me. "ENNO, ARE YOU READY TO GO?!" He said as he slung his arm around my shoulder. "Jeaz Ryu, lower your voice I'm right here y'know." "Sorry, I'm just excited." I looked at him confused he was never this excited for studying. "Why are you this excited? You're never excited to study." With this we started to walk to my house as he tried to form an answer, while looking very... cute?

Well I think I had that exact thought last year too. Wait, do I have a crush on Tanaka? No, no. I can't he's ju-

While I was deep in thought Tanaka snapped in front of my face getting my attention. "Sorry, were you saying something?" I looked up at him. "I mean no... but you were about to run into a pole so... you okay? You seem out of it." To say the least I was surprised he paid that much attention to me. "Mhm. I'm fine." He didn't seem convinced but I was thankful he didn't ask about it again.

When we got to my house  we greeted my mom and went straight upstairs. He seemed uncharacteristically quiet and sum what uncomfortable? I don't know he just seemed like he had something on his mind.

I stopped explaining this one problem when Tanaka lent his head on my shoulder. I tensed up a bit but relaxed after a few seconds. I didn't want him on my shoulder but he looked so... peaceful? But I couldn't help but ask, "What the hell are you doing?" "Nothing." Was his only response. I just sat there very confused about this situation. Overthinking it as usual.

After a few moments though I went back to, what Tanaka says is, "A miracle of the teaching world." Which when I heard him say that I couldn't help but burst out laughing. He looked at me like I was crazy. But I continued to laugh at sight of him frustrated with me.

Well enough daydreaming back to the present. And the present was Tanaka fell asleep. On my shoulder. Which may or may not have triggered a slight gay panic attack. I didn't want to wake him up but I also know he has to get home soon. So I had to shake him awake.

"Tanaka... come on you have to get up." "Five more minutes." Is what he had to say, as he snuggled closer to my side. My mind was racing with thoughts. I was gonna say something when Tanaka suddenly shot up looking very flushed. He muttered something under his breath that I think was, "shit did I really just do that?!" Before I could say anything he was rushing out the door saying, "thanks for having me over, bye!"

I just sat there for a few minutes contemplating what just happened. Until my mom called me down for dinner.

After dinner I went upstairs to my room and flopped onto my bed. I stayed there for a few more minutes thinking about what happened with Tanaka. Until I decided not to be a lazy ass and get ready for bed. When I got into bed though I kept thinking about how weird Tanaka was acting. But then decided to ask him tomorrow.

The next day had come and classes went by faster than I expected. When it was time for practice I went as fast as I could to the gym. I wanted to catch Tanaka before he went into the club room. As soon as I got to the gym I saw Tsukkishima, Kageyama, and some of the new first years. As there captain I should keep a calm hea- "WHERE IS TANAKA?!" I shouted at them unintentionally. "Uhm, I think I saw him going up to the club room." A very calm Kageyama said, clearly fed up with my attitude. I muttered under my breath, "FUCK!"
