I woke up, the room mostly dark, but some light peeking out from the thick curtains. Harry was still asleep, snoring softly. I rolled over so I was on my stomach to look at him, smiling.
When I remembered all that happened last night, I smiled to myself. It was perfect. Slow, gentle, romantic, like everyone dreams their first time to be like. I still remember him kissing my scars just before I drifted off, too. It made me feel that he loved everything about me, including my scars, which I couldn't say about anyone else in this world.
His eyes opened slowly. He smirked sleepily, kissing me softly. "Mmm, morning, beautiful."
"Morning."
Harry tugged me closer, his fingers landing on the back of my hip. His eyes widened.
"What?" I asked, not all that alarmed at first. "What's wrong?" When he didn't answer, I sat up.
He held his head in his hands.
"Harry," I urged hi!m.
"I-" He couldn't bring himself to answer. "I hurt you."
"What?" I asked, surprised. "No, you didn't."
He nodded, eyes down. "Yes, I did." I realized what his fingers were tracing. Three small bruises on the left side of my lower back that were in the shape of his fingertips.
"Harry," I put my hand on his shoulder. "I'm not hurt. They're just bruises. It was an accident, they'll go away soon enough. And, if you haven't noticed, I've been hurt before." I chuckled, though there was no humor to accompany it.
He shook his head. "I feel terrible."
I kissed him, lingering on his lips. "Don't."

A few hours later, Harry and I decided to finally get out of bed. We got dressed and brushed our teeth and such. Harry wrapping his arms around me from behind, he watched as I stared in the mirror.
"What?" I asked, looking at his reflection.
"What are you doing?" He mumbled into my hair.
"Getting ready, what are you doing?" I asked, leaning into his body slightly.
"You're staring at your reflection," He kissed my jawline.
"Am not," I defended.
"You are, too." He laughed slightly. "You look beautiful. Now let's go."
The truth was, I was always staring. I was always looking for every little flaw. The only time I wasn't staring in the mirror, I was thinking about how much I hated what I saw everytime I was looking at myself. I averted my gaze to the floor, ashamed Harry'd caught me.
He squeezed my torso, kissing the top of my head. "Let's go get something to eat."
I gulped, and he looked into my eyes.
"You aren't hungry, are you?" He shifted his weight, shoving his hands in his pocket.
I shook my head. "No, no, I am, let's go."
We went down to the hotel's restaurant, the lights from the window's nearly blinding me. I felt a headache come on, and I immediately regretted drinking so much last night.
