Grey clouds cover the sky, rain drops on the ground, water flows down into the curb drains. A small corner store is lighting up the area, inside is the only worker on duty is a seventeen, light blue hair boy. He wears the store uniform, a red collard shirt, beige khakis, black dress shoes. His name tag was written with pen, barely illegible, spells out "Irolka"
Irolka is smiling, a bright smile, just waiting at the counter despite getting no customers yet. The clock ticks, his water bottle half empty, water drips down the windows of the store. "I can't wait for a customer!" His light blue eyes sparkle, he stands perfectly still. After an hour goes by, a man wearing a black hoodie walks in, heading straight to the back of the store. Irolka smiles, even jumping up and down slightly from excitement. The man comes up the counter, drawing out a gun on Irolka, pointing it at his head.
"You know what to do." The man says, deep rasp voice echos throughout the quiet, lonely corner store. Irolka just keeps on smiling, standing perfectly still "hi! What would you like? Cigarettes? You look like you'd smoke! Or sound like it...orrr maybe a drink? Soda? A foam cup or a plastic cup?" He just keeps on talking, sometimes even going off subject with, whatever his subject was in the first place. The man pistol whips Irolka in the face, causing him to fall down, nose bleeding and dripping onto the floor. He wipes his nose off with his hand, stands back up, and stretches a bit. He stares into the man's eyes, speaks with his young smooth toned voice "Sorry, should I have not kept talking? I wanted to give you as many options as I could." His smile still unfazed. The man sighs with an annoyed tone "I don't have time for this." He pulls the gun back up and squeezes the trigger.
Ice covers the gun in an instant, also freezing his hand to the gun. Incasing both of them together. "Hey! What?! The fuck did you do?!" He flails his arm around. "Unfreeze it!" The man says in a panic, the ice is so cold that it irritates his skin. All Irolka does is smile "sorry, you're a bad guy, you must be captured...you shall be my first villain that I capture and sent to prison...because I'm gonna be the greatest hero ever!" He holds both his hands in front of him "freeze spray!" Ice sprays everywhere onto the man, coating the upper half of his body. "Ha! Now that your brain is frozen, you shouldn't be able to move! Now if you stay right there, I'll-." Due to not being able to move, his body falls, shattering the top half all over the floor "send you to the...! Oh...whoops..." he laughs nervously "uhh...oh...oh he's dead..." Irolka looks around, remembers about the store not having cameras due to being too financially unstable, then goes to the closet room and picks up a broom "sweeping time..." he sweeps up the bloody ice shards quickly and then wets the floor
With a mop "phew all the blood is gone and the ice shards are in a garbage bag out back. Closing time is...in 2 hours! What a great day at work! I wonder what awaits for the next two hours!" Absolutely nothing happens for the rest of the day and Irolka walks home under an umbrella.Irolka opens the front door to his small house "home!" He smiles brightly "it's nice outside." One of Irolka's friends, his best friend infact, Jamie responds with a monotone voice "it's raining, boring...grey..." he looks out the window, watching the water drip down the frame "how was work?" He shifts in the chair, it creaks from its old age. Setting down his umbrella, Irolka looks back at Jamie "great! I stopped a villain from robbing the store with my awesome powers!" He waves his hand across, imitating a corny hero stance. Jamie sits up in his chair, his long black hair covers one eye and flows down his shoulders, the glasses on his face are hanging down the bridge of his nose "...sure you did." He says while sipping his drink, flipping through a book. Irolka kicks off his black dress shoes and lays back on the couch "as much as I like working, it's always nice to come and relax at home."
Meanwhile, still at Irolka's little house, a girl with dyed bright pink hair that fades to black near the ends, wearing a baggy shirt with a metal band on it, kicking her legs in a rhythm and her jeans rub together. Jamie calls from the kitchen "Gemma!" Gemma pauses her game and sets down her controller "coming!" She comes out to the kitchen, smiles at Irolka "o-oh! Irolka! You're home!" She blushes but hides it with her hands, trying to be lesss obvious "anything you'd like me to do for you?" Gemma holds her hands together, hoping to make Irolka happy, he only smiles and responds softly "no thanks, I might just nap right now." Gemma calms down a bit "oh, oh alright. Jamie, what did you need from me?" Jamie looks up from his book with a stern expression "where's Marniece?" Gemma jolts, looking a bit nervous "oh! Uhh...little Marnie? Errrm...I-I know where he is! I'll get him for you!"
