Unveiling the Curse

Chapter-6

Jin and Yoongi entered the familiar surroundings of their home, Jungkook by their side, as the rest of their brothers gathered around, their expressions.

"What did the doctor say?" Hoseok said.

" Is Jungkook okay?" Namjoon asked.

Taking a deep breath, Jin and Yoongi exchanged a somber glance before Jin began to explain the situation."Jaehwan, believes there may be more to Jungkook's condition than just a medical issue. He suggested seeking help from a shaman and we went there."

Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise, his voice filled with apprehension. "A shaman? What for? What did the shaman say?"

Yoongi's expression grew serious "The shaman confirmed that Jungkook's experiences may be linked to something spiritual, specifically a voodoo doll."

The room fell silent as the weight of Yoongi's words sank in, each brother processing the information in their own way.

" And also she said......." Jin said looking at his brothers.

"Where is the voodoo doll now?" The shaman asked Jungkook.

"It's probably lost. It was with my dog."

"Did you remove the pins?"

"Yes, I did."

"Do you remember where the pins were placed?"

Jungkook nodded "One was in leg, another in hand and arm, one in heart, and another in eyes. And I lost track of one in the doll's head."

"If the curse is not broken, the pin will move from your arm to your heart, then your eyes, and finally your head. It will be a painful death."The shaman said seriously.

Jungkook got scared.

"Is there any way to break the curse?" Yoongi asked worried and scared.

"I will try to free you from this curse. If you feel any pain in your arm within two hours the curse is not broken. If not, it is broken. But if the curse remains, you will die within the next eight hours. It's very late."

"Is there anything we can do to save him?"Jin asked with teary eyes.

"There is a powerful monk in Jeju Island who may be able to help. I will contact him immediately if the course is not broken." She said.

The room fell silent as Jin's words sank in. Suddenly, a sob broke the silence, and all eyes turned to Jungkook, who sat in the middle of Taehyung and Jimin.

"I don't want to die... I don't want to leave my hyungs..."Jungkook sobbed.

Taehyung and Jimin immediately enveloped Jungkook in a tight hug, their own tears rolled down.

"You're not going to die, Jungkook. We won't let that happen." Taehyung said trying hard to not break down.

"We'll do everything we can to save you, Jungkook. You're not alone."Jimin hugged him tightly.

"We're all here for you, Jungkook. We'll find a way to break this curse." Namjoon patted his back controlling his tear to not fall .

"You're our precious maknae, Jungkook. We'll protect you no matter what." Hoseok cupped his cheeks.

Jungkook nodded through his tears. But suddenly his arm seared with pain, a collective gasp filled the room as realization dawned on everyone present.

"Namjoon, we need to leave now. We can't waste any more time." Jin instructing Namjoon.
