This story is going to be continuing a month after the last chapter to Preachers Daughter was set.

I knew that I should've set my alarm. I said to myself, as I rushed outside the door.

I ran to school for about three minutes until I decided that being late to school is better then running for ten minutes.

While I walked, I took in the scenery. It was a nice day outside, not too hot or not too cold. The wind was slightly blowing, providing a slight, cool breeze.

When I arrived at the school, I stepped into the office and filled out a little paper that they make you fill out if you're late to school. Then, I went on my way to my first hour.

Walking in, my teacher said "Brinleigh, grab a seat. We were just about to start our lesson." I sat down next to a girl who I knew, Sophie, we weren't exactly friends but she was really nice.

"Hey, Sophie, do you have a pencil?" I whispered to her.

"Yeah, hold on." She leaned down to her bag and pulled one out, handing it to me. I thanked her and she smiled in return.

After our lesson had finally finished, the class had a few minutes to spare.

"Here's your pencil." I handed it over to Sophie.

"No, it's fine. Keep it." she said.

"Are you sure?" I questioned.

"Yeah, you'll probably need it in different classes, so might as well." she shrugged.

"Thanks." I said.

"Hey, I know this sounds a little weird but do you mind if I sit by you at lunch? My friend isn't here today and she's the only one I sit by." She asked.

"Yeah, of course! I don't mind, but you'll have to deal with my boyfriend, as well." I playfully rolled my eyes and she lightly laughed.

"Okay, that seems fine with me. Do you want me to meet you in the lunch room?"

"Yeah, in line two. I always go to that line." I told her.

After four long hours of classes and lessons that I'm never going to remember, it was finally lunch time.

I waited in line two for Sophie, like I said I was. When I found her we both grabbed our trays and I lead her to my table. Corey wasn't there yet, he always got line three for his food.

"Did you understand anything in first hour?" I asked Sophie.

"A little, I took a lot of notes. You can borrow them if you want." She replied.

"That'd be great thanks-"

"- Hey babe." Corey interrupted, sitting down in front of me.

"Hey." I smiled. "Corey, this is Sophie. Sophie, this is Corey."

"Hey, what's up." he nodded his head towards her, stuffing the gross lunch food in his mouth.

"He's a charmer." She sarcastically said to me, which cause me to laugh and for Corey to nearly choke on his food.

"Hey, I may act stupid by that doesn't mean I am." Corey defensively said, causing both, Sophie and I, to laugh.

"Brin, you wanna come over this weekend?" Corey asked.

"Yeah, I guess so. I'll have to ask my parents first."

"Don't worry, they love me." He smiled a cocky smile.

He wasn't wrong. They did love him, even though they hated him at first, over the past few months that we've been dating they've really taken a liking to him.

"Okay, well if I come over then you have to let me put makeup on you." I heard Sophie giggle a little when I said that.

"What?" Corey groaned.

"You heard me." I said.

"Okay but not a lot-" he looked around to make sure no one was listening, and whispered "-and don't tell anyone about this."

"Don't worry, I'm sure that you lost your man card a long time ago." I teased.
