Taking a huge bite from his sandwich, Issei watched as the Dwarven siblings continued crafting Kuroka's new weapon, a blade with the power to control lightning. Brok had called it Alastor.

Issei recalled how the group had stumbled across the brothers a full month after they'd explored the Phoenix's Temple. The two dwarves had offered their skills to him in exchange for a place to stay, something that he was all to ready to agree with.
Ultimately, the decision to accept them was a good one as the brothers helped improve and enhance their existing weaponry. Not only that but they'd also helped Issei complete the gifts he'd made for when he reunited with the rest of his harem. As a symbol of their gratitude, the dwarves had crafted the Draupnir spear for him with Le Fay's help.

He smiled to himself as he recalled how Le Fay had presented the spear to him in its ring form causing him to mistake it as a marriage proposal from her. Glancing over to his right, Issei watched as his latest familiar, Scorch, played with Blaze, both of which had proved useful to the Dwarven Blacksmiths as they'd constantly use their flames in whatever project they'd make and as such could often be found in the forge.
Thankfully, as the months passed, the group had only gotten stronger with each gaining and developing new abilities. Issei, under the tutelage of A2 and 2B, had developed some great skills in combat and in addition to that Le Fay had helped teach him magic.
"Ahh... It's good to be back! Don't you think partner?" Ddraig yawned as Issei finished his sandwich. "Yeah..." He replied with a wistful look on his face.
Issei had managed to restore his connection to Ddraig with Le Fay's help. Although he did have to face off against the remnants of Apophis that he had somehow managed to absorb when he had first fought against the evil dragon. Once beaten, Apophis let himself be fully absorbed into Issei and used as a means to reawaken Ddraig.
From there, Issei quickly learned that he carried a piece of Bahamut within himself and with Le Fay's help discovered that the power he had taken from Albion was in fact a piece of Bahamut power. This caused Issei to realise that Albion was like Ddraig and was a sentient piece of magic that slinked off from Bahamut.
