There were the little things that drove you mad-as if being with him wasn't crazy enough-the little irritating things he created that made you want to scream and run off to let out steam-and leaving a mess in the kitchen after he ate was one of those things.

"Isaac, how many times do -"

"Same to you, Y/N." He snapped back angrily.

You ground your teeth, hating that you were having an argument again at the simplest of things, and the fact that the both of you were using your names rather than the usual 'Budz' you called each other since the relationship of being friends started and up until you and him being together.

"I've told you too many times that you should clean up after making a mess. Honestly, it's not that difficult!" You walked back and forth in the kitchen trying to make the mess a little less messy and then back to the living room where the werewolf was.

"Or we can do the usual and put it in the dishwasher and do it later."

"Oh sure, and then let it grow nasty fungus or diseases and grimes, or ... or-" you were so furious that you were lost for words to even finish your sentence; feeling your blood boil, you felt heat creeping up your cheeks, your face sporting a pink tint.

"Just clean, damn it!" You growled, trying to keep your blood pressure down and not burst out.

"I don't really have to do anything, Y/N"

"Don't give me that BS, Isaac."

"Well you screw up the closet and you don't see me complaining."

"I do not screw up the closet." Though your face was still flushed, it was not flushed from anger anymore, but rather from embarrassment. At this, you could practically feel him silently rejoice at this new victory.

"Yeah, sure, 'course you don't." He replied sarcastically as he rolled his eyes at you. You didn't notice that you were already face-to-face with him in the threshold of the kitchen and living room-well, face-to-chest that is, since he was much taller than you, so with that, you stood on a chair you dragged with you to the threshold – in which Isaac secretly chuckled at this- and continued your quarrel at a much more levelled height.

"I don't!" You argued.

"Alright then," He had that smug look on his face. "You want to look? We could always prove it, you know."

"Okay, maybe I mess it up a little," you knew you were turning redder at this – out of anger and embarrassment. "But you don't even 'use' the closet! You just leave your things on the bed and then it just piles up and make more mess-"

"How did this turn back to me?" He asked in disbelief. "Well, you don't 'use' the kitchen yourself."

You knew that he was trying to blame it back to you because in all honesty you are the only one in the pack who actually makes good edible food. There were only a few times that you messed up and gave up because it was your first time making that kind of dish, but then you'd go back and cook eventually.

"I do!" You somehow felt offended at this that made a pain shoot through your spine, but you didn't mind it because all you can feel was hot anger. You were confused why this simple quarrel was so different with the usual arguments you both had because this time you felt so much hurt and anger towards him while the other times you two fought was just light and quick and would eventually simmer to a kiss.

"When?"

"When we have people over," Your voice hinted clearly that you meant yesterday night and every other night when the pack was over at your house and doing the usual pack meeting that would end up being a sleep over for everyone.

"Not that often," it was true at some point.

"I sit with you when you eat, and I have to-"

"Then don't sit with me then!"

Your lips pursed.

"You're going to regret that, Lahey."

"Budz, no wait-"

With that, you marched out to the back door of the house and made a dash towards the forest, not really caring about anything at the moment. You didn't know where you were going but somehow you ended up falling to your knees as pain shot through your spine and up to your head, this time though it was more painful than what you felt a while ago. You then felt it all over your body, as if your bones were cracking right under your skin. You felt like screaming but you ended up with a growl before blacking out from too much pain.

After waking up from the cold ground, you then made your way through the forest and to the animal clinic knowing that Deaton would be the one to have answers about the sudden questions surfacing in your head on what you are.

"Well what have we here," you heard him say from across the street to where he was standing by the back entrance of the beacon hills animal clinic.

"Y/N," He greeted you as you approached him, letting you enter the clinic despite how big you were -you thankfully fit.

It has been three days since Isaac and you spoke and three days since he went looking for you after the fight you had, alerting everyone in the pack that you still haven't come home the next morning. Deaton wasn't surprised when almost all of your friends went to Deaton and asked for help as well as telling him that they'd picked up a strange scent that smelled like a werewolf but not really.

"Actually, she's here." Deaton replied plainly and was immediately bombarded with questions from Isaac as well as the alpha as they made their way towards the back of the clinic with four pairs of feet sounding; they were approaching the room where the surgery of animals happened-where you were.

"Haven't you noticed her when you walked in?" Finally asking that question, Deaton opened the door of the room you were in and entered, Isaac, Scott, and Stiles following behind. They all had the same dumbstruck look plastered on their faces as they looked at you, observed you and tried to understand what was in front of them.

"Oh my god," was all Stiles could utter paling at the sight of you.

"Budz?" Isaac called using the name he gave you, his eyes teary and glowing gold suddenly at seeing a large silver wolf rather than you, his girlfriend, in front of him with a confused and sad look.

From your sitting position as a wolf, you crouched down whimpering with your ears flattened on your head as the numbing pain started to make its way in your body again, trying to go back to the skeletal structure of a petite girl. From your small crouched position, you didn't notice that Isaac already wrapped a large towel around your naked figure once you've finally shifted back before he helped you stand back on your wobbly feet and not wasting time in hugging you so tight that you felt tears on your shoulders.

"Shifting still needs some getting used to because it's painful," Deaton explained to them after you've gotten dressed and within the circle of your friends and in Isaac's arms, listening to him intently.

"So she's a werewolf also?" Liam asked in a corner beside Scott.

"A were-coyote?" Malia asked an eyebrow quirked up.

"No, she's a shapeshifter." Deaton answered. "She's a cousin of the wolves up north."

"So she's not affected by the moon at all?" Stiles asked.

"No, not one bit."

"Well lucky you," Isaac jokingly said, looking at you and pulling you closer to him and hearing his heart quicken as he did so with your new heightened senses before kissing you on the lips but getting interrupted by Stiles.

"I don't want to see puppies running around just yet."
