Izuku Midoriya was the number one pro hero. He graduated from UA almost two years ago. He had just arrested some villains at their base, and the police had been searching for the villain group for three months, and Deku had finally found their base in the outskirts of Japan.

While looking through the base, he had found a hostage unconscious, but that wasn't out of the ordinary. He had expected to find at least one of two people. He was absolutely crushed but relieved when he found a familiar blonde who had hand-me-down clothes and his wrists chained above his head.

His body was covered with bruises and fresh cuts, Izuku had noticed that Katsuki was out of it and mumbling words under his breath. He probably didn't know he was alone - or well alone without the villains in the room.

"Kacchan..." Izuku spoke softly.

Katsuki's head immediately flew up in the direction of Izuku's voice. This almost scared Izuku. He was stunned even.

Katsuki's facial expressions said everything Izuku needed to know. He knew Katsuki was traumatized and wasn't going to even speak much.

After two years of being a hero, he's encountered different types of victims: the frantic and the traumatic silent ones. Katsuki was one of the ones who refused to speak or look at anyone.

Izuku walked closer to him and spoke once again in a soft tone, "It's okay, Kacchan, I'm not going to hurt you..."

Katsuki looked down, "Do you remember me? I'm Izuku Midoriya, we grew up together, you used to call me Deku."

Katsuki didn't move.

Izuku didn't give up just yet. As he was going to say something else, he heard Katsuki say something, but he wasn't able to hear him.

"What Kacchan?"

"Izuku..."

He smiled, "Yes, Kacchan, it's Izuku."

Katsuki looked up, his empty eyes staring into Izuku's bright green ones, "He... I - I'm sorry..." He mumbled. Izuku didn't know why he was apologizing, but he decided to deal with that later on when he was more stable.

"Okay, it's okay, I'm just gonna get you out of here, alright?"

Izuku finally made his way close to him and fiddled with the chains, causing Katsuki to flinch at his contact, Izuku apologized before continuing.

Soon enough, both males were at the hospital, Izuku staying with Katsuki the whole time, Katsuki's parents had shown up an hour later, worried and happy for their missing son.

Mitsuki and Masaru spoke to Katsuki along with Izuku to keep him calm as he was still not comfortable with people just yet.

Katsuki didn't say a word at all. He didn't need to either. It was fine with Izuku. It was fine with his parents.

"Katsuki, hun, you have no idea how much we missed you, we never stopped looking, even after the police closed your case. We never gaved up." Mitsuki softly spoke while holding onto Katsuki's hand.

Masaru nodded and smiled, "Izuku always came by to help us too. Even as a hero, now he still searched for you."

Katsuki looked at Izuku to confirm. When Izuku nodded, he gave him a barely noticeable smile. Knowing how Katsuki was even before Izuku knew he was absolutely grateful for him.

"You're welcome, Kacchan!" Izuku chuckled, causing the blonde to blush and look away.

The three chuckled at the flustered male, making Katsuki's blush more red.

"Oh, you're still the same brat we love..."

Katsuki gave Mitsuki a look that shouted, 'Shut the hell up old hag!'. Then, a knock interrupted their moment. A doctor was at the door, which caused Katsuki to hyperventilate.

"Oh, um, do you think you can get a nurse instead?" Izuku asked. The doctor nodded and left, Izuku looked at Katsuki with a reassured look, "It's okay, he wasn't here to hurt you. No one here is gonna hurt you. Even if there were, I'll be here the whole time to keep you safe."

Katsuki hated this. He hated feeling so fucking weak. He hated having to depend on Izuku for safety.

He nodded anyway, and the same time a nurse had walked in with a smile, "Hello, I'm Dr. Mori, and this must be Mr. Katsuki Bakugou?" She said.

Izuku nodded, and the nurse then explained Katsuki's mental state and condition. Katsuki was diagnosed with PTSD and Multiple Personality Disorder (or as it was renamed to Dissociative Identity Disorder). He had to dissociate during his time in captivity, not to mention the sludge villain attack before he was kidnapped.

"As Katsuki was very young when he was taken, he made up personalities to get away from the trauma, so he will be dissociating often." The nurse explained.

Mitsuki and Masaru were horrified at the fact that Katsuki had to dissociate just to get away from his trauma, but to Katsuki, it was the only option at the time.

"I assume that Katsuki will be going back to his parents?"

"Yes." Mitsuki answered, and Masaru nodded.

"Okay, well, Katsuki will be staying here for a few days for observation, then he'll be able to go home." The nurse then left the room. Izuku looked back at the family before announcing his leaving, promising Katsuki that he'll be back tomorrow.
