TW: Mentions of self-harm and sexual assault.
It had been two months since Katsuki had returned home, Izuki was now on the search for the two villains since they had escaped the prisions, Izuku knew they were on the constant move and still targeting Katsuki.
Desteria and Azoth were spying on Katsuki without him or Izuku knowing, planning their next move.
Katsuki had been training in his room with the limited equipment that he had. He had been gaining muscles, abs, and much more strength.
Mitsuki and Masaru had been trying to keep their distance with Katsuki since he's been so distant with them, mostly them, he'd only let Izuku in his room. The only time he would come out of his room was when he was hungry or had to use the bathroom.
At first, they thought that training and exercising was his new coping mechanism, but then they came to a conclusion that they know now.
Katsuki would lash out at his parents whenever they try to tell Katsuki to take a break from exercising in his room.
He would bicker with Rose and Charlo when either of them co-con or front.
Rex barely fronted anymore. It was always Charlo now since he was the first to appear in the first place. Rose only fronted once in a while since Katsuki was never stressed.
Katsuki was in the middle of lifting weights when a knock was heard on his door frame, his mother in view, "Katsuki, Izuku won't be visiting today, he had a longer shift then he originally had." Mitsuki informed, causing Katsuku to drop his weights, looking at his mother in disappointment.
"Great. Now, can you leave?"
Mitsuki sighs, "Sweetie, I know you're still recovering, but -"
"But nothing! Okay? I need to do this, I need to get stronger, I need to help Izuku get those bastard villains to stay in prison!" Katsuki shouted.
Yes. Another thing.
He still hasn't been in the loop of the situation yet.
Izuku still refused to tell him, and even though Katsuki was still upset about not being told, he didn't hold it against the hero. Deep down, Katsuki knew the reason.
But that didn't mean he wouldn't stop asking for updates on the villains. He still would. Even he asked his parents, but they wouldn't tell him either.
Mitsuki sighs, closing her eyes and looking down at the floor, "Okay, well... Dinner will be ready soon, brat." She said before leaving Katsuki.
Katsuki noticed when she called him a brat. She was upset, like she was trying to hide it by calling him a name. Normally, she'd call him a brat because that was her way of bonding, but she never did it to hide any feelings.
Katsuki felt bad for treating his mother the way he did, but he couldn't control his emotions right now.
Letting out a huff, he went back to lifting weights for another twenty minutes before moving on to doing push-ups and sit-ups.
This was how it was. Three days later, Katsuki would train in his room till he hit his limit. He would rest after that, eat, shower, and then talk to Izuku whenever he came by the house.
Izuku knew of Katsuki training even when he was told that Katsuki was not of need to help the pros (since he wasn't at all a pro hero himself) he'd train anyway. Not listening to him or his parents.
Another day passed, and Izuku came by again to see Katsuki, but only this time, he was determined to find some answers. He was not going to wait anymore.
Izuku couldn't take it anymore. Seeing Katsuki like this, he could tell Katsuki was frustrated at him, and Rose would just pop out and shout at him. But it had seemed that Katsuki was getting better by the day, but he was still hurting mentally still.
Izuku didn't want to but he told Katsuki anyway about what had been going on with the villains, (how they had found leads of their plans from before, their new information of their quirks, how they escaped, etc.) with a compromise that Katsuki would share some input as well of his experiences.
Katsuki didn't know how to feel. He didn't know if he should be happy that he finally knew or terrified that the villains would come after him again.
They hurt him once, and they can do it again.
Any fucking time too.
The thought soon faded as Katsuki was shook back into reality by Izuku calling his name multiple times. Izuku was looking at him with concern, which Katsuki hated, but staying true to his word - he sucked in his pride and told Izuku all that happened to him.
"Take your time as well, Kacchan, I don't want you to rush it, but also, do you mind if I record this? For the police to hear?" Izuku asked as he pulled out a recording tape out of his pocket.
Katsuki looked at him before nodding, "Okay, fine, whatever..."
Izuki pressed the red dot and waited for Katsuki to start. Though it did take a moment of silence before he spoke again, "I don't know where you want me to start..." Izuku smiled at him, "At the beginning, Kacchan."
Katsuki sighed, "Well, I don't want to get into any detail,"
"You don't need to, but do try to be clear."
Katsuki did the best he could. He had a few stops here and there. He told his childhood friend how Desteria broke his walls and forced him to confess some dark truths that Katsuki did to Izuku in middle school, his own dark truths that involved trauma in middle school.
The things Katsuki was telling him, Izuku didn't even know. Katsuki had been hating himself for hurting Izuku for years that he hated himself to the point of self-harm.
Not cutting self-harm, thankfully to Izuku, but still self-inflicted.
Using his own quirk to harm himself, snatching himself to the point of bleeding.
Katsuki, being forced by Desteria's quirk, broke him just like he said back at the prison.
And as for Azoth...
Katsuki was sexually assaulted, Katsuki had to experience that every other night and day, and Izuku had to stop him there. He's heard enough, and there was enough evidence for the police.
Izuku stayed with Katsuki that night. He didn't go home. He stayed.
He knew Katsuki wanted him to stay. He knew Katsuki wanted comfort.
That's what Izuku gave him that night.
