"So, brat, we kept your room the same, but we did also move a few things out, we kept your posters up, your bedsheets the same, most of your figurines as well." Mitsuki rambled as she and Masaru were showing the house to Katsuki.
Katsuki had been released from the hospital this morning. He was eager to leave that place. He spent the last three days in the hospital, basically still in a frantic state.
Izuku visited the most every day after every patrol he finished or on days off.
"We'll let you settle in, alright, Katsuki." Masaru said in a soft tone.
Katsuki nodded, and his parents left him alone in his room. He looked around. His wall color was still the same. It was a dark color of bluish grey. His bed sheets were a black and grey plaid along with the pillows.
He looked over at his All Might figurines and walked over to them that were on his desk on the right side of the room.
Picking up the one with All Might's left fist in the air, Katsuki looked deeply at it, wondering why no hero even bothered to look for him.
Did they even try?
Did they even know he was kidnapped? How would he know, he was locked in a fucking room with chains holding his wrists above his head.
Maybe he deserved it. Katsuki was an asshole to Izuku. Maybe it was karma, karma, for bullying him for years. Especially three days after that fucking sludge villain nearly killing him.
Katsuki heard the voice in his head telling him that it wasn't his fault. But he thought otherwise.
Katsuki suddenly threw the All Might figurine across the room and started throwing every All Might figure he had. Fuck him.
Fuck every hero out there!
They didn't even fucking try till now!
If it wasn't for Izuku, he would still be there. For now on, Izuku was the only hero he trusted.
Katsuki angrily tore off the posters off his wall with a scream of agonizing emotional pain. All the emotions that were bottled inside just came out as he threw any hero merchandise he had owned.
A minute after, his parents ran in his room, Mitsuki had her hands over her mouth and her eyes glossing.
Masaru walked over to his frantic son slowly, and Mitsuki stood at the doorway.
"Son... Katsuki, it's okay..." Masaru spoke softly as he cautiously got closer to Katsuki, who had calmed down once he heard his parents walk in, "Katsuki, come here..." Masaru said again.
Katsuki was trembling, his bottom lip quivering uncontrollably, his eyes shut tightly. He felt comforting arms wrap around him. Masaru moved Katsuki's head to his chest and hugged him protectively.
"It's gonna be alright, Katsuki," Masaru whispered, "It's gonna take some time, but it's gonna be alright."
Katsuki wanted to say something back, but he didn't trust his voice, but he spoke anyway.
"N - No, it's not!" He yelled in a shaky voice, then he burst into tears, crying heavily.
Mitsuki walked to the two and joined in in the hug, petting Katsuki's hair, pecking his forehead.
"It's okay, brat, if you want, we can have Izuku come by?"
Katsuki nodded.
Izuku did come by four hours later, after a patrol, and kept Katsuki company while his parents had gone out to get some food for supper. Izuku had witnessed a switch from Katsuki.
Charlo.
He spoke to Izuku about what Katsuki didn't want to tell.
Izuku had been wanting to help Katsuki, but he didn't want to pry too much, but the doctors and the pros needed to know what happened so that they could keep the villains in tartarus.
"What else happened to Kacchan?" Izuku asked.
"Nothing else besides what I've told you, Katsuki would let me handle everything else before Rex and Rose showed up."
"What happened when they showed up?"
Charlo sighed, "The villains were more rough with him. They thought that they would get rid of Rex and Rose if they hurt Katsuki more. But that wasn't how it worked in the system."
Izuku frowned, "W - What do you mean in the system?"
Charlo explained, while leaning back against the headboard, "DID is a trauma disorder, it can be caused by childhood trauma and present, DID can show up at any age in a person's life. What Katsuki went through was past traumatic. It's something no one should ever go through, but delusion was the only way he could escape."
Charlo watches as Izuku takes the information in. It was already something he knew since the doctor said the same thing when Katsuki was in the hospital.
"The doctor said that already..."
"And that's the end of it. Dissociation wasn't a choice to be made by him -" Charlo then stopped, Izuku didn't say anything as Katsuki was dissociating to another alter.
Katsuki's neutral expression changed to a glare.
"We're not saying anything else. You have enough information from us." Rose said before getting up and leaving Izuku sitting on Katsuki's bed.
There's so much that he wanted to know. Izuku knew there was more to it than just beatings and punishments that Katsuki went through.
There just had to be something else that happened.
