"fuck fuck fuck, I should call her back shouldn't I?" Chifuyu mutters as he and Kazutora open up the petshop Tuesday morning
Kazutora narrows his eyes at the other man. "You haven't called her back yet?"

That was Tuesday. It is now Friday afternoon and Naoto and Chifuyu are talking to Maya's landlady, trying to figure out exactly where she went. "So... She paid her this month's rent but... She packed up all her stuff and just... left?" Naoto repeats what the old woman said, looking at her skeptically
The old woman just nods and sighs. "She left her key in my mailbox with a note and when I came to check the place it was spotless. All her stuff was gone like she didn't even live there. I didn't think it was something to report since she never made a mess or anything but now that the police are getting involved it seems that maybe something is wrong"
