You hadn't realized you were shaking, and you tried to still your nerves.

You didn't say anything; his intimidation seemed to paralyze you and that grin- it was practically sewn onto his face. It never faltered, his sharp teeth interlocking perfectly. As he made his way through the long hallway, he stopped in front of a door. His grin tightened and his eyes darkened as the shadow that had been casted on the well behind him moved, shifting onto the carpeted floor and across to the door.

Your eyes widened slightly, but you didn't say a word as the shadow reached out to the door handle and turned it. The door was pushed open and the shadow dissipated as the demon carrying you walked into the room. He pushed the door with his foot, keeping it open a bit.

He walked across the room to the bed and gently laid you on it, carefully pulling your wing to the side. Your eyes shifted to your wing, which was much worse than you'd originally thought. It had clearly been crushed under you during the fall; the bones were cracked and splintered, and part of it seemed to be degloved. You tore your eyes away before you had the chance to panic.

Your eyes flickered to the demon looking at you, trying to read him. You didn't know what was going to happen, and you were practically helpless. It didn't really mater that Vaggie had been told he wouldn't hurt you; he was unimaginably terrifying and you were shrouded in fear when his eyes locked with yours.

"You're quite lucky to have landed at this Hotel." His voice cut through the silence, causing you to jump a bit. He began to walk around the bed, and you noticed that his eyes were darker. "An angel like you is a valuable prize."  The atmosphere around him began to jitter and glitch, and his antlers began to grow. Your heart began to pound as static overtook your mind. "Do try to be still."

Green energy began to quickly flow from his hands and it travelled to the wound on your leg. The dark magic enveloped the wound and your body forced out a scream through clenched teeth. You flattened yourself against the bed and slammed your eyes shut- it felt like blazing shards of glass were embedding themselves into your flesh, deeper and deeper until they reached the bone. You dug your nails into the mattress and exhaled heavily with a cry, unaware that you were holding your breath.

After a moment, the searing pain ceased and the light behind your eyelids shifted from one side of the bed to the other. You opened your eyes and looked over the the demon, who's eyes were now dials- like the ones from vintage radios. "I'd suggest you bite something, my dear. This will hurt." His eyes flicked to your mouth, and a small wooden rod manifested between your teeth.

You'd barely had time to process it when the dark energy dashed to your wing, going up under the flesh that had separated from the bone and engulfing it in fire. Your teeth slammed down onto the wood as you let out a muffled scream and began to thrash around. The demon working on you glared at you; his disturbing grin was the least of your worries as you realized you were now unable to move your limbs. He was pinning you down with his power.

Another muffled scream tore itself from you as your eyes widened and darted to your wing, which now felt like it was being torn off. You watched, gasping and shaking, as the mangled flesh and bone began to burn; turning black before it was gently pulled away from the remaining, healthy bone. You watched in awe and horror as your body began to go numb. New, black bone was now stretching out from your natural bones, cracking and popping as new joints were created and bones set.

It was all too much- your vision was blurring and your eyes were getting heavy; the pain was now gone and you were quite tired. You were losing awareness of your surroundings as your eyes fell shut, and the color green overtook your mind.
