House of Despair

I walk back to the house, dragging my feet along the road. The memory of my aunt and cousins drowning themselves is still fresh in my mind. How am I supposed to move on with this? How do I tell Philip that they killed themselves? Not like I care about Philip, but he'll probably blame their deaths on me. I shake my head and continue walking until I come across a police car. The driver's door is open and I approach it, seeing a submachine gun sitting in the passenger seat. I pick it up and check the ammo, seeing 30 bullets loaded in the mag. I rummage through the car a little more and find a handgun magazine. I load my handgun with a new mag, refilling it back to 15 bullets. I also find another gun but it doesn't have any ammo. I take it, regardless.

After looting the police car, I continue walking back home. The sun begins to rise, but I still feel uneasy. I arrive at the house and search my pockets for a key, but I can't find it. I mutter a curse under my breath and turn, only to see the Doctor again! 

Mutasim: You! What are you doing here?! 

Doctor: I was looking for something. A new gun to defend myself with. If you're willing to part with one, I have an offer. 

Mutasim: An offer? 

He reaches into his lab coat pocket and pulls out a key. 

Doctor: If you give me a gun, I'll give you this key which should unlock the house. 

Mutasim: How do you have a key to MY house? 

Doctor: Make your choice. 

I sigh and pull out the empty handgun I looted. I hand it over to the Doctor. 

Mutasim: Here. There's no ammo though. 

Doctor: Thank you for trusting me. 

He hands me the key which I take. However, he holsters the gun I just gave him and he pulls out another one, shooting me in the shoulder. I scream and fall back down while the Doctor runs off. 

Mutasim: Fucker! 

I pull out my handgun and fire at the Doctor's leg. He falls down and tries to crawl away. As he crawls, he turns to face me and fires at me. I duck just in time and return fire. After the 6th shot, I manage to hit his hand holding the gun, disarming him. Not wanting to use anymore bullets, I rush at the man and stomp on his head multiple times, crushing his skull under my boot. After the 7th stomp, he dies with a splatter of blood surrounding the space around his head. 

With a pained sigh, I look down at my shoulder, seeing blood run down. Taking a closer look, I see the bullet went through. I'd need to find bandages or something to recover. Rolling my shoulder back, I picked up the Doctor's revolver and walked back to my house. Using the key I got from him, I unlocked the door and entered. As soon as I stepped foot inside the house, the door behind me locked tightly. The lights were off and I couldn't see anything. 

All of a sudden, a dim light fills the room, revealing that the layout of the house had changed completely. It had turned into some kind of maze. The walls were corroded with rust and blood, the floor was a carpet of blood and the sound of a man screaming pierced my ears. I let out a groan as I held my ears shut, trying to block it out, but no matter how hard I tried, the voice kept screaming.

I shake my head and try to focus. I walk straight ahead, but before I reach the end of the hallway, an upside down and hanging body with blades swings around the corner and charges at me! The blades constantly spin around its corpse. I turn away and run back, turning left and I continue to run. No matter where I go, I keep running into all upside down hanging corpses that could cleave me apart! 

Eventually, I reach a blood soaked door and I try to twist the handle before realising the door is locked. As the voice screams, I feel my head begin to burst. Any longer and I feel like I'll go insane! Turning back, I roam the maze again while searching for a key for the locked door. I keep turning around every twist and corner, examining as much of the maze as I can. However these corpses aren't making it easy for me. 

After what seems like hours, I finally find a key. It blended in with the bloody walls as it itself was coated in blood. I grab the key and try my best to backtrack. It almost takes me twice as long to get back to the locked door. Pulling out the key, I unlock it and slam my body against it, not being able to take this constant shouting! 

However, it just seems like the screaming gets louder as I find myself in another maze! I yell in pain and distress, not able to take this anymore! Pushing myself up, I search for another way through. More of the hanging corpses spin around set areas. I continue avoiding them and search for a key or a door, whatever I needed to break free from this fucking maze! 

It takes me awhile, but after avoiding another hanging corpse, I see a key hanging from the bag they're concealed in. I shoot the chain that binds them up, making them fall down to the ground. The blades stop spinning and I quickly make my move. I snatch the key and sprint down the halls and twists and turns where I can. 

Feeling my sanity slip, I finally reach the door and use the key to unlock it. I push against the door, slamming it open and the voice becomes so much louder that I feel like my ears are starting to bleed! With a pained cry, I fall to my knees, trying to silence it! Tears run down my face as the pain brings a mass headache to me. I stand back up and continue to push on, trying to find an escape from this nightmare house! 

It takes me some time to realise that there's no corpses hanging upside down. I turn another corner and see a giant face spinning around and twisting maniacally, screaming! It's the source of the shrieking! Blood runs down its face from its eyes and head. Its teeth are twisted and yellow with bits of blood coating the tips. And the creepiest part of it, its eyes. They're wide and mostly black, with slim edges of white. 

Now that I'm closer, I see that it somehow resembles me! Except it looks so much more nightmarish and somehow in agony. I scream as I pull out the machine gun and unload into the head! Its screams grow louder as it continues to spout nonsense! Before I know it, the colossal head sinks down into the ground and the screaming finally stops.

My ears go deaf from the sudden silence and I look down the hole, unsure of what happened to the giant head. I jumped down the hole and found myself back in the normal version of my house. Heavy breaths leave my lips as I feel the soft white carpet under my hands and feet. The walls returned to their normal freshly painted white. 

Still in pain, I push myself up to my feet and look behind me, just to see the front door I came from initially. I open the door and see it leads right back outside like nothing ever happened. Shaking my head, I close the door and take a deep breath, searching the house. The first room I visit is my aunt's and her boyfriend's room. Philip isn't there. So I check the kitchen, the living room, the back garden, every other room... Still no sign of him. 

The only room I haven't checked is my own, where I stay... Where I stayed, with Sofia. I place my hand on the handle and twist...
