A\N: Okay, you all know I'm a sucker for a good romance book, and I love writing them, so this one is pure fluff and romance with Diane, Cary Zach and Grace thrown into the mix. Enjoy, Angels.

Will Gardner knows that it's coming up to the 25th anniversary of him and Alicia graduating from Georgetown, and wants to do something with her to celebrate, because it also celebrates their 25 year friendship but he isn't sure that celebrating with a big party seeing as she and Peter's divorce was finalised three weeks ago and she's not as okay as she seems.

"Will?" A voice says from his office doorway.

It's Alicia. He looks up from his paperwork and beckons her in. She walks into his office and he frowns at her appearance: even though she's wearing a dress with matching heels and makeup, he can see the circles underneath her eyes that are covered by her makeup and the way her dress hangs slightly off her frame, telling him how much weight she's lost in the last three weeks. He notices a box in her hand. She walks in front of his desk and places the box on his desk with a smile. "What's this?" He asks her with his own smile. Her smile turns into a smirk as she turns and leaves her office, stumbling slightly in her heels.

Once Alicia has left, he stares at the wrapped box that's laying on his desk before putting it in his drawer. He'll open it with her on Friday night, the 25th year of their anniversary of their graduation and their friendship. He grabs his phone and texts Diane, Cary, Zach and Grace, sending them all the same text:

Will: I need your help in doing a surprise for Alicia for our 25th year of graduation and friendship.

Their replies are instantaneous:

Diane: Done, tell me what you need.

Cary: I'll distract her while you guys work on her surprise.

Zach: What's the surprise?

Grace: YAY!

He smiles as he reads their texts: he's lucky he and Alicia have both found a second family: him in Diane, Cary, Alicia and her kids, and Alicia in Diane, Cary and him.

He can't wait to surprise her on the biggest day of their lives.

Alicia has no idea why she's back in the office at ten to 11  on a Friday night, on the 25th anniversary of her graduating Georgetown with Will, and her 25 year friendship with a certain William Gardner. She steps into their floor and checks her phone again, reading the text she got from Will half an hour earlier.

Will: Meet me in the office at 10:50 in what you're wearing.

The text left her confused but curious before she got in her car and started the drive to Lockhart/Gardner. She walks into Will's office when she suddenly sees Will on the floor on a picnic blanket, surrounded by electric candles, food and wine, along with Diane, Cary, Zach and Grace.

"W... Will?" Alicia stutters in shock: she has no idea what the hell is going on here. Will smirks, along with the rest of her... their family.

"Don't tell me that you, Alicia Cavanaugh the girl who woke me up two hours before my alarms went off to study brought me coffee every morning, don't know what day it is?" He teases her as he stands up and walks over to her. She scoffs lightly and rolls he eyes. "I do remember what day it is, and I also remember what we said we'd do when it came to our 25th anniversary." She says with a pout to him.

The day they graduated, Will promised her that on the day of their 25th year of graduating Georgetown, they'd meet up and go out drinking until all hours of the night. Will chuckles. "Well I thought that you wouldn't be up for a night of drinking, or to traumatise Zach and Grace of seeing a drunk Alicia Cavanaugh, because you're a traumatising drunk." Will says with a laugh, Alicia giggles. "It was one time!" She protests as Will takes her hand and leads her to the blanket. Her friend and ex-lover looks at her kids. "Cover your ears, kids," he says before turning back to her. "you flashed the bartender into giving us free shots all night." Alicia groans as Will helps her sit down, glancing at her outfit.

"Nice t-shirt, Leesh, nice pants too." She gives him a shove and laughs. She was sitting on the couch in the t-shirt she stole from Will, but put on jeans when she received his text. "Eh, I've worn worse outfits and you know it." Will hands her a glass of champagne and raises his own glass in a toast.

"To 25 years of graduating Georgetown." Will toasts with a smile on his face, a smile which she returns.

"To 25 years of us raising hell together." She toasts.

"To us raising hell for another 25 years." Their laughter echoes through his office, their family looking at the two lawyers with smiles on their faces, happy that the two of them are happy.

Will and Alicia sit on the couch in his office, drinking scotch alone in his office.

"Thank you for tonight, Will." Alicia whispers to him, sipping her drink. Will chuckles as he wraps an arm around her shoulder, pulling her closer. "You're welcome, Leesh." He says.

"Hold on, this was the night we had that late night picnic in 2L on the roof of the Law library." She realises, looking around his office. He smiles: he knew she'd remember it.

"I love you, Alicia Cavanaugh." He suddenly says as he looks at her: he's always loved her, and it's time she knew it. Her eyes look at him, a smile playing on her lips as their lips collide in a heated, passionate for the first time in years.

"I love you, William Gardner." Alicia says softly as they lean their foreheads together.

It's been 25 years since their friends but it's also been 25 years of their love.
