I took a threatening step towards her and flashed an evil smile.
"What do you want with my pack?" She asked, a voice groggy with sleep was hers. Due to her deep sleep when I snapped her neck. She could barely lift her head up and her elbow-length black hair draped over her face.
"A member in your pack has very valuable information about us, and we would like him... hmm... taken care of. Wether it be by some voodoo witch or by us" I smirked.
She thought for a moment, and her eyes became distant. Her skin suddenly burned and blistered where the wolfsbane laced cuffs held her skin. Through the dimly lit and humid stone cell I could see her eyes glow the deep yellow of her wolf's, yet it disappeared when the burning of her skin stopped. It disappeared as soon as it appeared. I bet she wish she wore better shifting material, her spandex shorts and sports bra would give me easier access to her vulnerable stomach and neck.
She was trying to push her wolf out, and didn't even process the thought that we could have planned ahead. "I need you to give me what I want as soon as possible, preferably being now, the longer you stay here the longer the wolfsbane can damage your wolf. Eventually killing your it after a prolonged period of exposure to the herb" I flashed a sickly sweet smile.
She snarled and her face morphed into something between wolf and human. It surprised me, but what caused me to flinch was the sizzling sound of her burning flesh on her wrists and ankles.
Her stifled cry in agony sounded, my eyebrows pulled together in some sort of sympathy as I saw her raw wrists. Some of the plant had a chance of entering her blood stream causing her to soon have trouble breathing, eventually cardiac arrest and bye bye.
"We took in a member of your pack thinking he was human. We need him for information. You dogs are too focused to kill we couldn't take the chance" I said through a clenched jaw. "The clock is ticking. The wolfsbane entered your bloodstream. You are also exposed to a large supply of it now. You will enter cardiac arrest if you do not tell me now!" I slammed my white-knuckled fists down on the flimsy metal doctors cart. I really didn't want this wolf to die. It was just another reason the pack would want us dead. But a job is a job, I do feel bad for her, but it had to be someone. Someone had to give us the information and we had to get it wether it be from her or the next one we would kidnap.
Her breathing became labored.
I guess I won't get my answers until she wakes up.
I punched the wall beside her head the stone crumbled as soon as my knocked made contact.
"Se-seb-as-as-tian" she said between breaths, or spasms, her body twitched wildly in the wall.
"Sebastian, eh?" My fangs sliced through my gums, growing in as a whole new layer of teeth. I held my exposed wrist up to my mouth and bit deep into the blue veins on my wrist. The blood started to trickle out, crimson flowing down my arm and dripping to the floor from my elbow.
I grabbed the wolves chin and squeezed it, holding her head in place. Quickly, I brought my wrist to her face and started to watch the blood trickle into her mouth. At first she resisted it, trying to turn her head but I held on firmly. Slowly she started to want more, subconsciously her head leaned up getting a better angle so she could get more blood.
Vampire blood was addictive, sometimes more than others depending on the situation. The more broken your body was the more your body craved the cure. We were hunted for it by humans, and the ones that were caught were farmed. Oh how I mourned for my lost brethren. They knew where to hit us where it hurt but we were lucky we made it, each one of us spread vampirism like the plague. One taken down by humans, three more vampires.
I wanted to turn her, to have a wolf on the inside, but newlings were always hard to control at first. And we didn't have the time and the needed space to spare so I gave just enough blood to repair her body.
The shifter who has yet to give its name out hung limply on the wall with small but strong breaths. I took my hair out of the elastic, putting it up in a messy bun after I threw my leather jacket on. I groaned, getting impatient, "Hurry up!" I whined.

Emotions didn't seem necessary, jobs needed to be done. There was no other way, sacrifice one for the good of the many. Sacrifice two... but they needed to be made. There was no other way. Pain- lots of it. Too much of it. But she would make it. Apparently they just don't seem to not make it out of here.
Damn consciousness. Why must you torment me so? The wolf was starting to put herself back together again, she would be fine. I needed to keep my people safe. I needed to wash up, the thin layer of blood that coated my body began to dry and it was becoming extremely itchy.
Her screams must have sounded through our underground house because when I came up all four vampires stared at me like I had three heads, I know it definitely wasn't the blood that caused the looks because it wouldn't be the first time I walked in like that. Whoops.
Emotions were such a curse, they got in the way of logic, and they clouded your judgement. Turning them back on was a pain but turning them off- quite easy, actually. And that's why halfway through my time down there her cries of pain got louder, but that's when I of what I needed.
I walked into my room, making a turn to the shower and turned the nob only about an inch to the right keeping the stream of water cold.
I should throw away my t-shirt and shorts. Agh shorts were not the right choice today. By legs were splattered in dried crimson, its going to be hard to scrub it off.
Stepping in front of my mirror I leaned over my sink to look at myself in the mirror. My face was normal but it didn't look the same, my cheeks still had their natural blush but it seemed to natural and my eyes still lit up a darker sky blue but it just didn't seem right.
Nothing was right, but I didn't care. I couldn't find any reason to worry and I didn't worry about not worrying. Carefree, no. Not carefree. Not normal... just efficient. I stripped and three everything into a small hamper I kept in there and stepped into the freezing cold shower.
I hissed at the temperature, I never got used to it, even after I did everything I needed to do and stepped out, the small droplets of water seemed to freeze on my skin but the air was warm.
I would get the rest of my answers tomorrow.
