Locked together

Bad Felling

After meeting my brother Rose left back to wherever she lives. I learned that I would be switching classes so I could work with my locket more. I really didn't want to switch classes. I mean yea these locket and locker classes sound fun ,but I don't want Rose to find out im a complete loner. God what would she think of me if she found out I didn't even have a single friend. Oh god. I can't bear the thought of making her hate me. I forgot that I was walking the entire time I have been thinking and run into someone. No surprise that I fall down because of it. I look up to is Brody staring at me.

" I-I-I-Im s-s-s-sorry-y-y." I studder. He laughs at me. God I must look like a lost puppy dog.

"It's fine. But watch where you walk short stuff." My eyes widen in surprise as he offers me his hand as help to get up. I accept the help and pull myself up. Brody nods at me then walks away. Well that was weird. I take a deep breath and walk back to my dorm room. Well tomorrow I start my new classes. Guess ill worry then.

~time skip to 9:00 am the next day~

This is the first class I had switched I used to take art right now but I take locket connection now instead. I walk into class before anyone else and walk up to the teacher.

"Hello im Mae and ill be in your class from today on." I smile at her and she smiles back.

"Hello Mae my name is Kara Mist and I will be your teacher. First thing you need to know about my class is your locket is to be present during this class and we learn more about are lockets and their personal likes and dislikes here. And thats about it. You will get the hang of it quick. Oh and you can sit right there." She points to a double desk in the back corner next to a window. I smile and thank her. I go back to the desk and sit on the side away from the window knowing Rose would rather sit next to the window. I watch as people filter in. The class is mostly people who would never talk to me in a million years so I don't bother event trying to talk. That is when I hear a sigh and see Jay sit at the desk next to me. He looks right at me and smiles.

" Hi." I smile and nod at him just to get mean looks from girls around us. Jay laughs at their reactions.

"Be nice to her girls she is a friend of mine." He laughs well I just give him a weird look.

"Alright class. Please call your lockets here." Oh shit I never learned how to get Rose here. I just as I was about to panic i feel a bubbly feeling. I turn and find a smiling Rose in the seat next to me. I relax at seeing that she is here. I can here some other people start talk to their lockets about random stuff. Jay and his locket are talking about with to do with Brody. I don't really know what too talk about with Rose. I start to worry thinking what if we have nothing in common.

"Mae stop worrying so much." Rose looks me in the eyes and smiles.

"Didn't you have glasses before." She nods.

"They are special glasses that allow the reader to read at an incredible speed." She states.

"Oh." She smiles at me again. Today she is wearing a gray sweater that goes half-way down her thighs and a skirt that almost doesn't show under the sweater. Her bright blond hair is put up in a braid and her blue eyes are wonder out the window.

"So it's Mae right." I hear Jay ask. I turn my gaze from Rose to Jay.

"Yes." I nod. and for the rest of the period I talk to Jay and Rose about random stuff. Laughing and smiling. When the period ends I say farewell to Rose as she leaves. Jay and I both have Locket training next so we walk together. Always getting funny looks from people around us. Jay explains the class as we head for the gym.

"See, Mae this class is a 3hour class that tests your ability to survive in a dangerous situation. Most of the time we are put into a group and made fight each other till time runs out. But sometimes we fight without anyone else. When that happens most people make alliances." I nod." And the rules are simple. Don't kill anyone and don't leave the ring." I look at him.

"Thats it. What about hurting a player to the brink of death." He sighs but dosen't answer. We arive in the gym. There is a giant screen on the wall that has a list on it. All the sudden a voice booms out of no where.

" The teams consist of three player. Your teams are above and today you will be fighting in the Amazon." I look up at the screen to find my name. I almost die right there.

"Looks like your stuck with us." Jay smiles at me well Brody just stares. I nod and they lead me to the start. It's weird being with these two and i don't feel very safe. I watch as other participants look at me with anger. I know I won't have to do much with these two being here, but still something feels off. I look at Jay and Brody. They bother seem calm. They might think of me as weird but this is to mush of a strange feeling to let go.

" U-um Jay, Brody." They both turn and look at me.

"Something is weird with this place if feels off. Like that there is something wrong." They both look at me weird. I just sigh. "Never mind."I mumble. They keep looking at me. Then Brody smiles.

" Don't worry Mae we will protect you." I give him a weird look.

" Yea we wont let nothin' hurt you." Jay states.

"Erm...o-ok." I studder. Just then the battle field opens and just as the voice said an Amazon appears right before are eyes. I gasp. As the first thing i see is a huge monkey coming at us. Jay quickly has his locket come out and destroy it. Event as the monkey dies my bad feeling doesn't go away. We walk further into the battle ground. We run into many animals. Jay and Brody took care of them with ease. As we ran into people Jay and Brody also took them out with ease. I just watch as the bad feeling grows stronger. Soon I can't take.

"G-g-guys I think s-s-something i-is seriously w-wrong." I state. Both Brody and Jay look at and smile.

" It's fine Mae nothing we can't handle is in here." Jay says and I just sight. Its been almost an hour. We keep walking and fighting for another 20 or so minutes. Then we come to a clearing where we see many teams beaten almost to death. I gasp and run to the nearest one as Brody and Jay stand in shock.

"W-w-what happend?" I ask. The girls looks at me.

"R-r-run." she coughs. As her eyes slowly close.

"MAE!" I hear both Brody and Jay yell. I look up to find a smiling locket hovering me.

"Master says kill anything in sight. I shall kill you little girl." I freeze at the sight of the huge woman. She is 10ft tall and must weight a ton. i watch as she brings her foot up and is about to squash me. At the last minute I come to my senses and dive out of the way. Jay and Brodys lockets are both here and attacking the locket. They rush over to me.

"Are you ok?" Jay asks. I just nod. Then I hear another voice.

" You almost killed my Mae." The sweat voice of Rose. I look at her as her smiling is replaced by a look of pure hate. Anyone could feel the power radiating off her. Jay and Brody both take a large step back pulling me with them. I watch as Rose swipes her hand force closing Jay and Brody's lockets gates. Rose looks at the other locket left.

" I will destroy you." Thos words leave the other locket silent as we all watch as something big starts to unfold.
