We begin and we end
Each one of our days
Within our own haven,
Each corner we praise;

For within these four walls
We've spackled our hearts
And on these floorboards
We meet counterparts.

Though sometimes messy
It's a sign of life's zest.
Every smudge, every scuff
Has a tale to attest.

The world can be cruel
But our home holds repose;
Its shelter, a refuge
And its contents compose

A symphony of union
And a beacon, beloved-
So come, take your shoes off
And feel of its love.
